Now we have an Archen that is easy to get out. As such, Archeops has become a viable card. Preventing evolution is great, especially in a basic heavy deck. Of course, there is always the possibility that the foe has evolved their Pokemon before Archeops came out. That's what Golurk is for.

Pokemon: 21

x2 Archen: http://serebii.net/card/megalocannon/044.shtml
-All I need to do is get Archen into the discard pile, and then I can easily play a Fossil and bring Archen into play. Needed for evolution.
x2 Archeops: http://serebii.net/card/darkexplorers/110.shtml
-Prevents players from evolving. Since this deck is very basic heavy, that isn't a problem for me. It is a problem for any opponent that relies on evolutions, especially when Archeops is supported by Golurk (who I bring out before playing Archeops).
x2 Golett: http://serebii.net/card/dragonsexalted/058.shtml
-Needed for evolution.
x2 Golurk: http://serebii.net/card/dragonsexalted/059.shtml
-This guy's job is to get out there and then when Archeops comes out, it starts to hit Pokemon with Devolution Punch. 60 damage might be enough to take down some of the weaker basics, and even if it isn't, they'll fall before Ghost Hammer. And they can't evolve at all thanks to Archeops, so they're in a bit of trouble.
x4 Stunfisk: http://serebii.net/card/dragonsexalted/070.shtml
-Derp a derp. 100 HP and solid damage for little energy. This card is very threatening early on in the game, and also later when I devolve Pokemon.
x3 Landorus: http://serebii.net/card/noblevictories/074.shtml
-110 HP, Electric resist, and one retreat cost. This guy does 80 for three, doing damage to the bench also. Mr. Mime synergizes well with this guy, as its ability protects me from bench damage dealt by Landorus.
x2 Mr. Mime: http://serebii.net/card/plasmafreeze/047.shtml
-Protects my bench, especially Archeops. Works well with Landorus.
x2 Sigilyph: http://serebii.net/card/dragonsexalted/052.shtml
-Deals with EX cards.
x2 Landorus EX: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/089.shtml
-Doing 30 damage for one energy, then 30 to the bench, Landorus EX can tear through weak basic Pokemon easily. It also is handy against the more powerful basic Pokemon, dealing a hefty 150 damage, although not without a price to pay. But sometimes sacrifices have to be made for the greater good.

Trainers: 24

x4 Professor Juniper: http://serebii.net/card/blackwhite/101.shtml
-Drawing. Its discarding is helpful to get Archen into play.
x4 Pokemon Catcher: http://serebii.net/card/emergingpowers/095.shtml
-Invaluable utility.
x3 Escape Rope: http://serebii.net/card/plasmastorm/120.shtml
-High retreat cost means I use Escape Rope. Also can act as a Catcher.
x3 Skyla: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/134.shtml
-Gets back Trainers.
x3 Plume Fossil: http://serebii.net/card/noblevictories/093.shtml
-Needed to get Archen out.
x2 Superior Energy Retrieval: http://serebii.net/card/plasmafreeze/103.shtml
-Gets back Energy, mainly those lost from using Juniper. Also can be used to discard Archen.
x2 Pokemon Communication: http://serebii.net/card/blackwhite/099.shtml
-Gets me the Pokemon I need.
x2 Cilan: http://serebii.net/card/nextdestinies/086.shtml
-Gets me Energy
x1 Computer Search: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/137.shtml
-Gets me the card I need. Also can be used to discard Archen.

Energy: 15

x9 Fighting
x6 Psychic
