I am new to UU, so I wasn't really expecting much from my first UU team. Apparently, I got lucky and stumbled upon a pretty decent team. I wanted to use a defensive core on this team instead of an offensive team, and decided to look into VoltTurn teams, which are very good. This team can be either offensive or defensive at the same time, or both, which is what I like about it. Anyway, here's the team.

Raikou @ Choice Specs
Raikou
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Extrasensory

A volt-switch or a T-bolt from this thing is truly scary, as will severely hurt almost any pokemon in the tier. mediocre defenses come along with being a legendary, which is different from a lot of other sweepers. Extrasensory, although not stab, will still hurt, and Hidden power grass is coverage. I'm thinking about changing it to ice for BoltBeam coverage, so someone tell me if thats better.

Mienshao @ Life Orb
Mienshao
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Hi Jump Kick
- Stone Edge
- U-turn

This is my favorite lead in UU, as it has all the elements of a great sweeper and lead. It Fakes out, and then OHKO's almost any non-defensive pokemon, and turns the tables on stealth-rock users by U-turning out to Xatu. Regenerator will keep it around throughout the game, making it something for the opponent to consider all the time.

Xatu @ Leftovers
Xatu
Trait: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Calm Nature
- Thunder Wave
- U-turn
- Psychic
- Roost
Nobody likes having their statuses and hazards bounced back at them, and this thing will either give me hazards for free, or scare hazard setters away. Although the bulk is not as good as I would like, Magic bounce makes it all better :)

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Porygon2
Trait: Analytic
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Calm Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Fire]

As I see far too often on chat on pokemon showdown, "It's too bulky :c." Those people couldn't be more right. on the special side this thing is near untouchable. with t-wave, recover, and just plain bulk, this thing is near impossible to take down on the special side.

Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Cofagrigus
Trait: Mummy
EVs: 4 SDef / 252 HP / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Haze

Again with the synergy thing, Cofagrigus not only soaks up fighting type attacks directed at Porygon2, but also is untouchable on the physical side. Further complementing it's stellar defense, it can also burn physical attackers and effectively render them useless.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Umbreon
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell
- Foul Play

Umbreon is just standard team support. It's hard to take down, wish passes, and can heal the entire team.

Anyway that's the team. Please rate, as I have not gotten much feedback in previous RMT's.

We need SlipperyDevil on this, stat!
If you're making Analytic Porygon, give it 252 in Sp. Atk instead of Sp. Def. Eviolite makes it bulky enough anyway.
Flafpert suggested a snorlax + gligar core instead to combat my fire weakness, does anyone agree
Uh you don't have a fire weakness.
I wouldn't change a thing. Good job.
