This is my first OU team, and I was wondering how to improve it. Here it is:

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Atk / 140 Def / 20 Spe
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- Whirlwind
-Brave Bird

Skarmory sets up Stealth Rock, then phazes and heals, occasionally attacking.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 212 Spe
Naive Nature
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Fire Blast
- Stone Edge

Infernape is my mixed sweeper. He takes down SkarmBliss and bulky Water types.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit

Scizor picks up the scraps and finishes. Pretty simple.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SpD
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Avalanche
- Waterfall

Swampert is my tank. After a couple of Curses, he hits hard, especially with Avalanche.

Salamence @ Choice Specs
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Hydro Pump

Salamence is my special sweeper. Standard SpecsMence.

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Fang

Tyranitar's my Physical Sweeper. Choice Scarf + Jolly outspeeds a lot of other Pokemon. Unfortunately, Ice Punch isn't an option... Thanks in advance!

Is this Gen V or IV?
Generation V
i dont like superpower on sizor the recoil can cripple him since he relys on attack
His Scyzor is being used as a " Finisher " Meaning he's meant to come in, Use an attack, then switch out.
J98 is right. My scizor is used to beat up on pokemon that are already crippled. Superpower is for steels. I think I am going to keep it, because it can do nice damage to blissey.
I also have an Accelgor with Focus Blast, HP Ice, Bug Buzz, and Giga Drain. 4 HP/ 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd. Timid Nature. Choice Specs. Could replace Salamence. Just an idea...

firstly,on infernape i would suggest replacing stone edge and fire blast with flamethrower and stone edge with rock slide because especially since you have the life orb attacked, you wont need the extra power.

actually do this with all of the pokemon if you can replace the higher power moves with here lower power counter parts like hydro pump with surf because in battle like this you don't want to miss

uhhhhhhh... rock slide isnt that much more accurate than stone edge. surf wont ohko anything. same with flamethrower. these moves usually dont miss....
Reliability is still a huge factor in the games. It only takes one miss for your pokemon to go down. You really want that safety of knowing it will hit, especially when you're using it to counter specific pokemon. You won't need a fire blast to take out a skarmory, especially with STAB and life orb power.
Stone Edge is better than Rock Slide though.
Ok, Overheat or Flamethrower in place of Fire Blast. Which One?
Flamethrower!
