Hi, this is my first team, and I have been perfecting it through battles. Please, tell me what you think.

Politoed

Politoed @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature

  • Hydro Pump
  • Ice Beam
  • Psychic
  • Focus Blast

Simple, uses drizzle and attacks with the most effective attack, outspeeding almost every pokemon.

Raichu

Raichu (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 216 SAtk / 40 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature

  • Grass Knot
  • Thunder
  • Nuzzle
  • Fake Out

With lightingrod it can protect the rest of my team. Fake out to protect him from the very common earthquake and gives Politoed the opportunity to attack the enemy. Grass Knot for the Terrakions and Mega-Tyranitars of the world. Thunder as a powerful and precise STAB attack, and Nuzzle just replaces Thunder Wave and lets me use the assault vest.

Gyarados

Gyarados-Mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 180 Atk / 216 Def / 112 Spd
Adamant Nature

  • Waterfall
  • Dragon Dance
  • Ice Fang
  • Protect

The best mega that fits in my team, in my opinion. Protect for Mega-Evolution turn, Ice fang for Grass enemies. Dragon Dance for Speed And Attack Bonus, and Waterfall for a STAB and Rain enhanced move. This Pokemon can be changed for a stronger Mega, though

Talonflame

Talonflame @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature

  • Will-O-Wisp
  • Swords Dance
  • Brave Bird
  • Roost

Fast Physical Sweeper, Will-O-Wisp reduces to half the physical attack of my enemy, Swords Dance to double the damge, defeating the most resistant physical wall, and roost for the recoil. Brave Bird as a powerful STAB enhanced by the Life Orb.

Murkrow

Murkrow @ Eviolite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 100 Def / 156 SDef / 252 Spd
Impish Nature

  • Taunt
  • Perish Song
  • Roost
  • Rain Dance

The inesperate part of my team that have saved me multiple times. This little *** can take several hits, and uses prankster roost after. But the most important, it is one of the fastest prankster user, and can taunt Sableye before Sableye taunts him. With Perish Song I can finish the two last pokemon of my opponent (if I have more than two) and destroy baton pass teams and "Entrainment + Wonderguard + Mimic" strategy. But if that doesn't it's enough, his prankster Rain dance destroys Drought ZardYs, letting my Politoed destroys everything on his way.

Toxicroak

Toxicroak @ Choice Band
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 232 Atk / 24 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature

  • Rock Slide
  • Earthquake
  • Drain Punch
  • Gunk Shot

This friendly frog outspeed most fairies, and finish them with Gunk Shot. Baloons are popped with Talonflame's priority and Toxicroak's earthquake. Drain Punch for EXTRA healing (aside from rain) and Rock Slide for Flying types enemies.

So, here's my team. I'm open for suggestions and everything you want to say :)

Toxicroak should really by packing Life Orb; I don't think it's a good idea for it to be choiced in doubles. As for Talonflame, perhaps Focus Sash & Acrobatics, + Tailwind.
Are weather teams really a viable option in X/Y ? As they now last 5 turns and 8 turns with Damp Rock.
@ Midnaito: As long as weather remains, it is very good. So to get it back, Rain Dance is here, and Drizzletoad as well.
Even with Lightningrod, your Electric weakness is pretty big. Excadrill could take down Raichu and pave the way for Discharge sweeping.
