Pokémon Rate My Team

Hi all, first time poster, hope im doing this right and everything!!

Ok, so heres my team (typically playing in Showdown rather than on an actual device...)
Any advice welcome obviously (i dont consider myself that much of a buff - my knowledge on EVs and stuff isnt particularly brilliant so dont go picking on me in that area!!! :D )

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Impish
EVs: 16 Att / 240 Def / 252 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Waterfall
- Earthquake

Kinda like my lead in a way (although i find him never actually having too much of an effect to the general outcome of the match!!) Find him either too slow or too weak but i do like the moveset!!

Zapdos @ Expert Belt
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 240 Hp / 228 Def / 40 Spe
- Discharge
- Heatwave
- Drill Peck
- Roost

This guy can beast sometimes and has shocked a few players with his knack to sweep through the typical Charizard (X and Y), Talonflame, Venusaur, etc. Again i do like the moveset but the EV spread means the attacks arent as powerful as i thought!!

Gardevoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
Nature: Modest
EVs: 76 Hp / 252 SpA / 4 SpD/ 176 Spe
- Moonblast
- Shadow ball
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind

Shes a typical speedy special sweeper. Quite a typical set Id say to be honest. The obvious STAB Moonblast comes in handy as well as the STAB Psyshock. Her defence is dreadful though!!!

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
Nature Timid
EVs: 252 Hp/ 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power Ice
- Calm Mind

Again, another special sweeper here but kind covers a different type of enemy! That Aura Sphere is absolutely insane at time, especially off the back of a Calm Mind set up!! In general this thing is one of my favourite pokemon of all time!! Again, defence/spec. defence isnt too good here.

Hyderigon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Hasty
EVs: 4 Att / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power Rock
- Dark Pulse
- U-Turn

Love this guy too really. Insane power and speed at times, does tend to do a lot of sweeping!! U-turn has turned out to be quite useful especially in being Scarfed!! Allows a free way out of it.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
Nature: Careful
EVs: 220 Hp / 244 SpD / 44 Spe
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Swords Dance
- Roost

This guy is incredible really!!!! Both bullet punch and bug bite do immense damage... You know really, i dont need to remind you of all the boosts he gets!! Although one thing to mention, all those using X Scissor on him, change right now, as bug bite gets the technician power up!!! However, Mega Scizor does not touch Mega Pinsir and i would love to have Mega pinsir in the team (Scizor does have a cool look to it though!!) - theres probably a way i could fit him in too, but i havent worked it out (most of the time, it seems to me that i cant set up anything or work out a way of regaining energy!!)

So yeah, thats my team, obviously im open to suggestions and all that... although i would say, im not the typical gamer as you can probably tell by my pokemon of choice, ie. i dont like to use the typical kinds of teams you see running round OU game play - i like to use them in weird and adventurous ways and use ones that arent necessarily the most popular!!

Ok... well I like variety, but whatever your choice of Pokemon is, it should still be able to handle the most popular Pokemon of OU. More on that later.
1. I can understand some low speed EV's (speed creeping) but I wonder why you have 16 attack on Swampert.
2. Speaking of Swampert, if you feel it's too slow, you might as well put all that speed EV's on HP.
3. EDIT: Zapdos doesn't seem like the best Pokemon to do an anti-metagame set on, I just can't think of any better idea (maybe other than Tornadus, who actually has STAB flying attacks to get rid of Mega Venusaur), so I'll let you keep it rather than the Timid sweeper HP Ice set I was recommending. Though, I don't see how that set can beat Char X (especially a Dragon Dance set) unless you're lucky to get paralysis on Discharge.
4. Ever thought of using a ghost to spinblock? You don't seem to have much against Talonflame (Swampert and Hydreigon checks it, though) and if Stealth Rock isn't out...

I ran some damage calcs and Swampert can resist 2 Brave Birds from Adamant Choice Band Talonflame (the most common kind of Talonflame) if it has at least 108HP and 252Def Impish. Even with 0 attack, it's likely to one-shot what's left of Talonflame with Waterfall (though I think it usually scares it off, I would just put up Stealth Rocks so it never shows its face ever again). So I would recommend 252HP 252Def 4SDef on Swampert.

Swampert:
Take those speed EVs and add them to defense and attack(Or special attack). I love your roar/stealth rock combo though.
Zapdos:
I tend not to use any legendaries, but I'll give it a pickover still. Your Zapdos, I think, should have speed and special attack/attack EVs, not defense. That will make it a total annihilator of many of the popular pokemon used.
Gardevoir:
Instead of HP and Special Defense EVs, try adding it to special attack and speed.
Lucario:
Hm..... Same as Gardevoir.
Hyderigon:
I like it!
Scizor:
Instead of so many EVs going to HP and Speed, why not special defense and defense? Then it will become almost invincible to all attacks. It will get all your opponents screaming in frusteration, becuse they can't ever kill your Scizor. ;D

I realize I just suggested that you should make more than half your team into sweepers..... (-.-)
Eh.....
