Lol yo, another RMT. This is in Gen 5 NU, and I think the team is pretty solid. What I think normally doesn't matter though <3. I was having a horrible battling day today (Went on like a 6 match losing streak over various tiers :I), so don't know why I decided to post this but MEH LEZ GO
Anyway with this team, I really just grabbed Eelektross, one of my favourite NU Pokemon, and a special powerhouse. Slapped a Lickilicky/Misdreavus defensive core, threw in Primeape as a revengekiller. After this I was like, I shud probably have a set up sweeper some where... OMG GOREBYSS >:D.
I originally had Pelipper as well, but TBH it was a dead weight on my team. Replaced it with Skuntank to take down psychic types and stuff.
I briefly considered a hazard setter/hazard remover, but tbh Hazards aren't all too common, and most of the time I can work around having them on my field or not having them on the opponents.
This also means I avoid the annoying teams which use an Assist+Roar combination with Ditto to set up hazards from you c;
Eelektross @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 84 Spd / 252 SAtk / 172 HP
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Giga Drain
- Flamethrower
My usual lead tbh, with excellent coverage as well as a nice switching move in Volt Switch which deals pretty hefty damage and lets me bring out something else safely. Eelektross has solid bulk (85/80/80) so he can afford to tank a hit or two.
Skuntank @ Dread Plate
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 176 SpD / 80 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Taunt
- Pursuit
- Sucker Punch
HAII MUSHARNA. DIE
HAII MISDREAVUS. DIE.
Etc.
Pursuit traps, Crunch deals solid damage, Sucker Punch Priority, and Taunt just screws up people. 80 Spe to outspeed Gorebyss so it can't se up on me and I can keeeel it :>
Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
My team's revengekiller.
Primeape forms a quick VoltTurn core with Eelektross, and it's a great combo for killing off Miltanks o3o!
Misdreavus @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 220 Def / 240 HP / 48 Spd
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Shadow Ball
- Taunt
One of the, if not the best physical walls in NU :I. Eviolite + Will-o lets Misdreavus tank almost anything, Taunt to shut down stuff, Pain Split as Misdreavus's only actual form of healing and Shadow Ball so I'm not complete taunt fodder.
Lickilicky @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell
- Body Slam
This guy is like Pikamaster. Phat and useless. Jks <3
Lickilicky is my Specially Defensive poke, forming a solid defensive core with Misdreavus. Wish allows him to be a team supporter, especially for Misdreavus who appreciates the extra healing. Heal Bell gets rid of pesky status and Body Slam is to prevent complete taunt fodder and spread a little paralysis which is always nice.
Gorebyss @ White Herb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Shell Smash
- Substitute
- Surf
- Signal Beam
YAY. THE BANE OF HALF THE TEAMS IN NU.
Gorebyss was always wrecks given the chance.
Shell Smash. Get behind a substitute if possible. GGWP.
Signal Beam > Ice Beam in this case, so I have something better to take down Ludicolo with, I can kill specially defensive variants of Exceggutor and I actually have something to hit Water Type pokemon with. Substitute is also a nice move since it prevents more defensively based pokemon from doing much to me, like walls, so I can just boost up in peace and kill. Also lets me play games with Sucker Punch pokemon like Skuntank <3.
