One day my Zapdos got decimated by a Shuckle. Interested in the set I tinkered with it and devised what might just be the perfect Shuckle set. I use it and its team members in Smogon Doubles. They're doing well considering I'm a horrible battler. Here they are.

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Shuckle
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SDe
Calm Nature
- Infestation
- Toxic
- Shell Smash
- Rest

This Pokémon is amazing in Double Battles. You rarely ever see it so your opponent assumes it's weak. And if it's paired with well known threats nobody pays attention to it. By the time most people hit it it's already Shell Smashed its way to triple defenses. And by then it's too late. To put it into perspective super effective stab moves won't even do 20% unless boosted or a crit.
Infestation and Toxic are a perfect combo for a Pokemon that just doesn't die. One way to counter the Shell Smash Shuckle was Toxic. I even let a guy think he had ruined my Shuckle with it. A few turns later I used Rest. (I still lost because Stone Edge and Psychic missed at the most crucial time) With this move and the bulk Shuckle is practically invincible. Unless you're a Super Fang Granbull.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Rotom
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SDef
Bold Nature
- Signal Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Reflect

Rotom doesn't usually do much. Usually just gets a screen up. That's the point though. Distract them from Shuckle. It works eerily well. Signal Beam for coverage. Thunderbolt for stab. Hydro Pump for stab . . . and missing Donphan three times in a row. (Still won the battle though.) Reflect for stopping people who want to set up. So far they've all been physical.

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Venusaur
Ability: ??? ---> Thick Fat
EVs: 248 HP / 60 Def / 200 SDef
Bold Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed

I'm proud of this guy. Hasn't failed me yet. Sludge Bomb to be like every other Venusaur. Smogon Doubles doesn't have a sleep clause/mod so I can spam sleep to my hearts content. Even if it does end in a one turn wake. Synthesis for recovery. Leech Seed to punish set up even further. This thing wrecks the opponent slowly. And it's hilarious.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Scizor
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Acrobatics
- Bug Bite
- Knock Off

Scizor has always been a good Pokemon. It has even given me a great performance by oh ko ing four pokemon in one battle. All were weak to knock off though. Still bullet Punch is mandatory. Acrobatics for a little diversity. (And that foolish Chestnaught) Bug Bite for Stab. Knock Off. Because Knock Off is amazing.

Latios @ Soul Dew
Latios
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Psychic
- Dragon Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt

I originally used an Expert Belt. I just remembered the Soul Dew while typing this. Thank Helix I did. Psychic for some stab. I'm not one for stat drops so I run Dragon Pulse over Draco Meteor. And obviously I have the bolt beam combo to hit nearly everything neutrally. Him and the next guy apply some serious offensive pressure.

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Terrakion
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Iron Head

I'm fairly certain this guy saved me. One guy decided to try the Beat Up gimmick on me. Lucky me I either won the speed tie or outsped with a scarf. The edge quake combo for hitting all the things. Close Combat for the sake of Close Combat. Iron Head to stop those annoying fairies.

My battles often end with Shuckle. It just annoys the crap out of people. The key is to divert your opponents attention. And with things like Latios and Terrakion it's not that hard. This is why I love using weird stuff, like Trick Room Flareon . They just don't know how to beat what they never see. It even survived a mono water team. Maybe it can do better in more capable hands.

Are there any glaring weaknesses in my team? Or should Shuckle be kicked to a higher tier?

Ah, Soul Dew is banned.
It did sound  a bit overpowered. Oh well, back to the Expert Belt.
