Pokémon Rate My Team

I've been slowly getting back into competitive and decided to not just jump into OU because honestly, I am kind of tired of it.
Since I always liked the look of UU(if that makes sense), I decided to make a team and play a few matches on main.

So far it has been going fairy well, so I decide to post a RMT and tweak my team as necessary. :D

If possible I would not change any team members, but if needs to be done to check/counter something I will do it.

Raikou

image

Raikou @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Extrasensory

I really wanted to have a Raikou on my team. Decided to take advantage of its more than decent speed stat and put a Scarf on it and make it primarily a revenge killer. So far it's worked quite nicely.

The two STAB moves are Volt switch and Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is the more powerful move(obviously) and Volt switch is there to keep some momentum.
Hidden power Ice for ground types that might switch in or ground types that I can finish off, and to hit most types with neutral effectiveness.
Extrasensory to hit Fighting and Poison types(been seeing them a lot so far).

Shaymin

image
Shaymin @ Life orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Seed Flare
- Dazzling Gleam
- Air Slash

Shaymin can take ground type attacks that target Raikou and Lucario and hit back with its very powerful STAB move Seed flare. The accuracy is a big drawback, but luckily Shaymin isn't that frail and can take a hit in case it misses. Unless a huge threat it out, it can usually afford one miss(at least that how it's been for me so far).

I LOVE using Dazzling gleam on this thing. It's always fun to watch when I OHKO Hydreigons that have been quite common so far. And any other Pokemon that are weak to fairy and aren't extremely bulky.
Earth power gives me some coverage against Steel Poison and Fire types. Air slash is a move I put on there because I honestly wasn't sure what else to put. The occasional flinch is nice and it hits grass types.

Life orb is there to boost its power a bit, because 100 special attack isn't amazing.

Lucario

image

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Zen headbutt
- Crunch

Lucario takes poison type attacks that would hit Florges and can hit back with Zen headbutt if they stay in.
Close combat is its very, very powerful STAB move. Crunch takes on Psychic types and Ice punch takes on Flying types.

I wasn't sure about this set, to be honest. It might be really bad but so far it's been working out really well.

Slowbro

image

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Slack Off

Slowbro is da real MVP. It takes pretty much any unboosted Physical attack and hits back decently hard, even when not fully invested.
Every so often you have the chance to set up some Calm minds to boost your special defense and special attack. Though I don't do this unless I got rid of every(or at least most) threats for it.

Slack off is there for some recovery after setting up Calm minds or to stall if it comes to that.
Scald is a very good STAB move, and the 30% burn chance is always nice. Psyshock, the other STAB move, is there to hit Blissey because for some reason people always expect Psychic. But hey, I'm not complaining.

Florges

image
Florges (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aromatherapy
- Wish
- Protect
- Moonblast

The main healer of the team. Takes special attack all day every day and just Wishes them off.
This set is pretty standard for Florges. Aromatherapy for any status conditions because they are annoying. Protect in case Leftovers recovery saves me from fainting, or just to wait the turn out in in order to wait for Wish to come true.

Moonblast for a STAB move. This Pokemon can't do much offensively but that's not even the point of it, though it has gotten me quite a few faints so far.

Aerodactyl-Mega

image

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Stone Edge
- Hone Claws

This thing is a complete beast. It is ridiculously fast and powerful. If you let it set up one Hone claws boost it will faint at least 3 Pokemon unless you have a good check/counter for it.

Hone claws is there to boost its already high attack and to increase the much needed accuracy in order to hit Stone edge pretty much every time. I use this as soon as I get a chance.
EdgeQuake combo hits most stuff at least neutrally. Stone edge is its very powerful STAB move that hits almost every time after one Hone claws boost.
Aerial ace is there to hit Fighting types like Machamp and Gallade and OHKOs them.

And that's it for the team, any suggestions are welcome. :]

Here is the importable version if anyone wants to test/use this team.

I told you already in PM, you have a Ghost problem (who you gon' call?), maybe give Aerodactyl Crunch?
So basically, Chandelure reks your team if Aerodactyl is dead
wants some comments? Sure. You're awesome. There ya go.
I'll do that. :>
I'd run a somewhat different set on Lucario in the form of Swords Dance / Iron Head / Close Combat / Extremespeed as you have no way of hitting Florges on that set, and that's part of what Lucario does. However, it's a decent overall team and I might use it to test my hand at UU later on. Keep up the good work, and hopefully Mega Aggron doesn't give this team too much trouble!
Just a couple of set changes:

Shaymin - Rest/Synthesis > Aur Slash. Air slash accomplishes nothing that the other 3 moves wont, so you might as well keep Shaymin healthy and reduce LO damage. Rest if you happen to switch a lot, or Synthesis if it has to stay in a lot.

Lucario - Honestly, if it isnt the SD set, then there's something wrong. SD set is standard EVs (Adamant Nature) with SD, Close Combat, Crunch/Ice Punch, Extremespeed. If you want a special attacker, Nasty Plot Infernape would be great with Fire Blast, Grass Knot, Close Combat (reks Blissey).

MAero - Since this thing doesnt get notable KO's at +1, you should just run SR > Hone Claws, since it can easily cause switches and jump out to Bro/Flor. Personal preference though.
"So far it has been going fairy well"
Eye sea what you did there.
Hue @ Scraf. That was totally intentional.

Alright, thanks. I'll change up my stuff a bit.
