First things first: this isn't my first rodeo. I've done RMTs on smogon and I'm going to format this RMT as I would on smogon, but maybe with slight changes here and there. Oh, and if you don't play 1v1, then don't rate this.
The purpose of this RMT is to find a way around Perish Song Azumarill easier, and to take care of Mega Gyarados. That's pretty much the only problem this team has. Oh, and WP Golem can be a problem sometimes, but surprisingly I don't see it often anymore.
Anger Issues (Kyurem-Black) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: TeravoltEVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Outrage
- Fusion Bolt
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
While the 1v1 ladder is floooded with Kyurem-B, it's used for a good reason. With it's outrage-ous attack stat (if you know what I mean), it can successfully outspeed and kill 70% of the metagame. Some people run Band over Scarf, but Kyurem that run band die to Scarf and sometimes fail to outspeed things. Another option is Haban Berry, if you really want to take care of other Kyurem, but I have Aggron for that.
Dragon Muncher (Aggron) @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch
Obviously, Aggron is here for Dragons. Kyurem-B and Dragonite stand no chance against this chunk of metal. Usually, anything that Charizard or Kyurem can't take down, Aggron can deal with it. I don't use Aggron as much as the other 2, but without it, as stated before, i'm vulnerable to Dragons.
RoastMasterRace (Charizard) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Blast Burn
- Air Slash
- Dragon Pulse
- Solar Beam
Charizard's Blast Burn in the sun does outrageous damage. It OHKOs anything that doesn't resist it. The only thing stopping Charizard is scarfers, unless it can take a hit from them. In dire need, I can hope for Air Slash to flinch. Other than that, the rest of the moves are just for coverage.
Feel free to use this team to easily climb to 1500.
