Hey guy's! Myself and a few friends are doing an OU battle in a month based on what we can get in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. Because of this there are some special considerations to factor in when building this team. Firstly, no one does a considerable amount of trading online or RNG abusing, so legendaries or events will be damn near unseen (though one friend says he got a near perfect Terrakion). Also, we're allowing Blaziken, though I plan on refraining from Mega-evolving him as I feel that would be pushing it, as I think I'm the only one using him. I'm currently having trouble finding a 6th Pokemon for the party, so this is a very rough draft of a team.
Blaziken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- High Jump Kick
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
Since I expect to see a lot of sweepers, I chose Jolly so I can hope to outspeed after that protect. Also, I chose to use Hi-Jump Kick over the typical Low Kick since in OU there aren't as many massively heavy Pokemon. Plus the heavy ones are more than likely to be rock or steel. I also picked up Swords Dance for opposing Protect predictions to my Hi-Jump Kick.

I need a spinner since I've heard some nasty things about a Greninja, and I need rocks for a Talonflame I'm fairly certain will be participating. Boom. Enter 5th gen version of Excadrill I used to play in Ubers I modified for gen 6 OU.

I needed some bulky status and a Talonflame counter. I'm also considering switching roar for rocks and giving Excadrill swords dance or substitute depending on what the team needs. Also, I can probably only get one RNG legendary in 1 month's time.
I know there are massive holes in this team, and would really appreciate all of your help! (Also, I haven't built a team since gen 5 and I'm really rusty, so go easy on me )
