So with just how amazing Mega Aerodactyl's stats are I thought I would build a team with it (ou)! Also taking into account that I needed a bit more bulk in my team since I've realized that I tend to do better with bulkier pokes and spreads.

EVs are fairly obvious, just maximizing the use of MegaDactyl's massive attack and speed to make it an awesome physical sweeper. Rock slide is the obvious STAB to tackle the likes of Mega Pinsir, Aerial Ace STAB again. Gone with Ice Fang to deal with the vast amounts of Dragon types as well as destroying Landorus-T. Earthquake for the obvious damage and to take out Heatran.

I've chosen Latias over Latios becuase as stated above, I wanted a slightlier bulkier option. Defog is obvious and since I found that its never in battle for too long I switched to Draco Meteor. EV's I have kept in SpA & Speed to maximize from both. Psyshock is for more coverage. I would be interested to see whether you guys think I should either swap roost for another move to use as coverage (ideas welcome) since its not in battle long, or whether I should swap back from Draco Meteor to Dragon Pulse and use Latias' little extra bulk & roost to more advantage.
Latias' bug, dragon, fairy and ice weakness is resisted by Heatran while its ghost and dark weakness is dealt with by Gengar,
Thundurus @ Leftovers

Again, I've tried to get a more bulky Thundurus, I found this bulky spread a while ago but it has done me well so far. Using Prankster to combat speedy set-ups and often use this guy as my lead to throw in a thunder wave to put me on the front foot straight away. Thunderbolt is for STAB and knock off helps for coverage. Taunt again helping with set-ups etc. Ground immunity also works well alongside Heatran who is threatened by ground, while its ice weakness is dealt with by Heatran and Rock weakness by Vsaur.

Venusaur is one of my fav pokes over my short time using showdown. Shrews38 suggested I use a specially defensive saur in my last rmt and I loved it, so now its back. This time I've set up Heatran with some Special Bulk so in this team saur is physically defensive. Giga provides grass STAB as well as recovery and sludge bomb is again for STAB. Sleep powder often comes in handy. The strangest thing about my set is probably the fact that I've chosen Block as my fourth move. I didn't find much use for Leech Seed or Synthesis, so I experimented and after a few tests found that on the odd occasion, Block & Sleep Powder proved a decent combination. Also, though I've surprisingly not had chance to test it yet, the idea for the moment is that since saur is my counter to Rotom-w, I can block its exit (via volt switch) and get rid of it then and there.
Venusaur works well resisting the electric and water threat to dactyl while offering super effectiveness against rock pokes that also threaten dactyl. Saur has great defensive synergy with Heatran, which is prone to fighting, water and ground, which saur either resists or is s/e against.
Heatran @ Leftovers

Running with the theme I've tried to bulk up Heatran, this is another spread I found elsewhere but has worked well. Lava Plume & Flash Cannon offer stab whilst Heatran is also my Stealth Rock setter. I've also taken out my fair share of opposing Heatran with Earth power. Its defensive synergy with Venusaur is key to this team, as it obviously loves taking fire hits and resists bug, flying, and ice which cripple saur, also providing coverage for dactyl's ice and steal weakness.
Gengar @ Life Orb

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Gengar is I guess my more official special sweeper. SB & SW provide STAB and focus blast adds some coverage, while Icy Wind is there again for Dragons and such. Its psychic weakness is covered by latias and heatran while it has its own solutions to dark/ghost pokes.
