=== [ou] Stall Stopper ===

Don't Leave Me! (Gothitelle) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rest
- Trick
- Magic Coat
- Psyshock

This is a Passive Blocker; that is, Gothitelle switches in on a mon like Chansey, who proceeds to T-wave or Toxic it. Then, she Tricks the Choice Scarf on said mon, neutering it as well as locking it into a single move. Then, it uses Rest to heal, and once it wakes up starts spamming Magic Coat to reflect status moves back until the Tricked Pokemon faints. Granted, this build struggles against anything that's the slightest bit not passive, but is a godsend when it comes to dealing with the infamous pink Poke-blobs.

I'm Attractive (Magnezone) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP / 252 SpA / 84 Spe
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt

When paired with two Pokemon that can Volt-turn into it, Magnezone does a wonderful job at stopping most slow Steel-types. Scizor, Ferrothorn, and any other Pokemon with no strong moves against it (i.e. Heatran/Excadrill). Considering that most of its allies are bait for these Pokemon, Magnezone fits in this team like jelly fits into a PB&J.

Da BEEFCAKE (Conkeldurr) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 236 SpD / 20 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Ice Punch
- Poison Jab

Ironically, the Pokemon with the least Sp D. has the highest after investment and the Assault Vest are taken into account. The idea here is simple; sponge statuses with Guts and Special attacks with Drain Punch. Being a STAB coming off an ATK of 416, Drain Punch hurts anything that doesn't resist it. Poison Jab and Ice Punch are the obligatory coverage moves, with the former handling Sylveon, Gardevoir, and the occasional Florges, and the latter absolutely decimating Lando-T and Gliscor.

Spin Me Right Round (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Rotom-W here is the defensive pivot of the group; Meant to take hits, inflict status, and get the hell outta Dodge when something that can really hurt it comes into play. Said things include anything with Guts, Excadrill (should they come in at the same time, or if Exca switches into a Volt Switch), and powerful Special Attackers. However, having Rotom-W gives the party an important pivot, allowing the team to maintain momentum as much as possible.

Chinese Food (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit

Speaking of momentum, here is a Pokemon who can really put the hurt on the enemy. If Rotom-W is the defensive Pivot, Scizor is the offensive one. They both have solid synergy, as Scizor can U-turn out into Rotom-W should something come in that can threaten the Bug/Steel type. Also, Choice Band STAB U-turn... Ouch. If only it had 10 less BP, though...

The Thundastorm! (Altaria) @ Altarianite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Return
- Earthquake
- Roost

Mega Altaria. You'd think with it's middling stats that it wouldn't do too well as a sweeper, right? WRONG. Despite it's 'middling stats', after a single DD boost its ATK and SPE stats go through the roof. And that's not even considering STAB Pixilate-boosted Return. I have three words for this thing if it's able to get to +2; G. Freaking. G.

So, leave your comments on how you think this team can do, and what you think I could do to make it better. Thank you in advance. :)

with the right type matchups, I could possibly defeat your team with a stall team. A prankster Sableye would have no problem stopping your defensive Pokemon, Articuno can tank almost all of your hits, and I don't call Skarmory the "ultimate phazer" for nothing.
Although I havent played this metagame in a while, I see some slight problems with this team. First off, you're using Gothitelle incorrectly. Whenever using Rest to stall an opponent, the pokemons you're aiming to beat are usually Chansey and Clefable (in or outside a stall team). Of course, it can beat other mons as well, such as quagsire, but It's not as big of a problem when you have rotom to burn it and conk to switch into toxics. For Rest to be effective, your Gothitelle must have a total of 301 HP (I believe it requires 84 HP evs) to effectively stall out any seismic toss users (read: Chansey). You can also decide to invest into SpD (around 80-128ish; I dont remember off the top of my head) to ensure you always beat Clefable in a 1v1, crit included.

Second, your move usage for Goth is partially correct.  Magic coat, while at first seeming like a good move, is quite literally useless once you learn how to time your Rests to the point where you would withdraw Gothitelle on its 2nd sleep turn burnt (vs Twave Clef + ttar builds), but not awake, as you dont wish to be statused. Chansey is much easier to deal with, since they will almost always go for SeimicToss over Toxic (if they have it), so you should aim to be awake or wake up right before their last struggle so you can trick yourself the scarf back. Thunderbolt or Calm mind are easily much better moves to slap on here. CM gives you another win condition if you trick yourself your scarf back and the opponent doesnt have a dark type left (generally wont be the case). Thunderbolt would be more situational for revenge killing mons such as Starmie or Manaphy while you have your choice scarf, as you dont have very good ways to deal with them, as the outspeed all your mons bar scarfed goth.

Lastly, consider replacing Conk (weakest link imo) for something that can constantly and reliably beat sableye. If you cant find a solution for that, replace EQ on Altaria, make it a bulkier build, and add heal Bell so you can take repeated will o wisps and have a super solid last mon wincon as well as a great tank. This would require replacing conk for something that can help in the process of beating heatran and/or weavile. Keldeo may be a good fit for this, as it stops the 2 aforementioned mons, as well as checking Bisharp for when you do not want to play around 50/50s on what to switch in.
Sumwun...any team can be countered if the team is tailored specially TO beat it. Plus being countered by Articuno means nothing.
Btw Lenub, copy/paste that into an answer imo.
Yes. Being countered by Articuno means that you forgot to teach a Pokemon stealth rock.
A single Pokemon being countered by Articuno..no. Also teams don't necessarily need SR anyway. Bulky attackers like most of these don't really need extra damage to push them over into OHKO because unlike sweepers they can deal multiple ht per target.
