Pokémon Rate My Team

I played some Sun lately and although I haven't gotten into competitive battling yet, I plan on doing so soon. There are many new Pokemon and I haven't gotten the chance to quite try them out yet so this team will be based upon information I have from researching the Pokemon and base stats. I probably should mention that this is for single battle as well.

Toxapex @ Rocky Helmet
Regenerator - Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128SDef
- Toxic Spikes
- Recover
- Scald
- Protect

This would be my defensive wall as well as my hazard setter. I at first opted for something with Stealth Rock but I really like this Pokemon in-game and so I decided to go with it. I feel like this moveset could be good. It's toxic spikes get stalled by Alola-Muk but when he is out, there is no really good switch in because nothing wants that poison.

Latios @ Life Orb
Levitate - Timid
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- HP Fire
- ?

Before you say anything about Defog, I can't get it. But this is my main special attacker. I used Latios quite much when battling competitively OR/AS. It hits hard, and not very much can actually wall it. Psyshock covers both Toxapex and Chansey, both of which can be very hard to take down. I tried using the Choice Scarf before but I simply didn't like the forced switch, and with more and more fairies turning up, I don't even think it's worth it anymore. Draco Meteor is obvious and HP Fire is for Ferrothorn and Skarmory mainly, but also for other such as Scizor, Magnezone and Jirachi amongst others. I am not sure what to pick for the last move. Ice Beam as well as Surf could be practical but so could Thunderbolt or Energy Ball. I don't know what is needed this gen.

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Clear Body -> Tough Claws - Jolly
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
- Meteor Mash
- Ice Punch / Thunder Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake

My mega. I have used it some time now and I consider it to be one of the better ones in OU. Especially in this gen it should be very good as it has a base speed of 110 (in mega) which is more than the now common 100. That is also the reason that I'm dropping Bullet Punch this gen, but that might change depending on how my battles go. I always used to run Ice Punch but after getting stalled by Suicune on 3 different occasions, I decided to maybe run Thunder Punch instead. I wonder what the better move this gen is though.

Heatran @ Grassium Z
Flash Fire - Timid
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
- Solarbeam
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Toxic

This is kinda to counter Alola-Muk as well as some other Pokemon. This set is a mix between the two on Smogon as I had literally no idea what to run on Heatran. Magma Storm + Bloom Doom is supposed to be OP but I have yet to try it.

Now when we added 4 Pokemon, I had weaknesses to Ghost, Steel and Ground. My Fire weakness is taken out by Flash Fire on Heatran but it still is a problem if it gets knocked out. Ground types could be taken care of from Ice Punch on Metagross as well as the potential Surf on Latios but otherwise I would have some troubles. I kinda took care of Steel with Latios and Heatran. That leaves me with Ghost, which both Latios and Metagross are weak to. Gengar isn't OU anymore though, so I might be worrying for nothing. The only real threat in form of a Ghost type is Mimikyuu, but it's Fairy as well so it should be taken care of by Metagross, although Disguise is a bit annoying. I also realized that I don't really have anything to take a Volt Switch with. I decided to add Tapu Koko.

Tapu Koko @ Life Orb
Electric Surge - Timid
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- HP Ice
- Dazzling Gleam

I have not used this Pokemon before but it seems like it's a fairly strong Pokemon this gen. It is there to occasionally take a Volt Switch while utilizing it itself. I felt like adding a Ground type would extend my weaknesses as my main thought was either Excadrill or Mamoswine.

Since I had 3 Special attackers while only 1 Physical attacker, I felt like I should add something a bit bulky. I ultimately decided for Tyranitar.

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Sand Stream/Unnerve - Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 192 Def / 60 SDef
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Pursuit

I might just be stupid trying Assault Vest Tyranitar but I think that the idea is interesting. I'm not to sure about the ability as the team might use Sand Stream well, but I don't know.

Thanks in advance!

everything on this team is weak to ground attacks except for latios if someone has a scarfed garchomp it sweeps after latios is gone so something like lando T could be useful for intimidate and ground immunity
Just realized that. I'm still waiting for an answer to the question though, as someone hopefully brings this up.
