This team probably horrifies you but please help, this is the first one I've made on my own, and I don't know if I should even try with this, this will also be my first time attempting doubles, so help!!

It seems to me that the only actually good Pokemon here are Volcarona and Aegislash. The others are outclassed by Zapdos, unbound Hoopa, therian Landorus, and Heatran. Give Volcarona a charti berry to survive rock attacks, and replace its fiery dance and roost with protect to stall turns and giga drain for healing and coverage. Give Aegislash a ghostium z and 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe modest to be a better nuke. Replace autotomize, sacred sword, and swords dance with shadow ball, flash cannon, and wide guard for better STAB attacks and to protect teammates.

the oricorio is there to set up my alakazam and so is my volcarona with quiver its there to set up so i can destroy stuff with alakazam O3O

and aegislash is supposed to be a physical attacker, if its supposed to be special i need a recommendation for a different physical sweeper.

From what I know about doubles, it's very fast-paced, so opponents can very easily kill the Alakazam while it's setting up. Even if you did want to use Alakazam, just replace role play with calm mind and you'll save an entire slot on your team. I also don't see why you need physical attackers badly enough to use a physical Aegislash. Even if you really need a physical attacker for whatever reason, a mega Metagross would be better than a physical Aegislash.

That's not a reliable strategy, because an opponent could easily take out Oricorio or Volcarona before Alakazam finishes setting up. An all-out attacking unbound Hoopa is still better.
