I understand what you're saying. I don't know what to say about myself, however. I feel like a complete screw-up, even if that wasn't what you were trying to tell me and you were just trying to help. I thank you generously for helping me come to this realization.
I don't know if you're necessarily a complete screw-up, but you won't be after you read the document.
I've read it three times through already. I'm editing the team right now.
The main problem I see with your new team is that you're using Gogoat, Roserade, and Sceptile, which don't do much other than share weaknesses with their teammates. Replace them with Cradily, Celebi, and mow Rotom to cover some of those weaknesses instead of compounding them.

Venasaur-Mega @ Venasaurite
Ability: Overgrow-->Thick Fat
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP/212 Def/28 SpD/16 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power (Fire)
- Sludge Bomb
- Giga Drain
Description: This thing can tank almost anything. The only real downsides to it is only 8 PP of recovery and very susceptible to Encore and getting set up on.

Tapu Blulu @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Grassy Surge
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SpD/252 Spe
- Horn Leech
- Wood Hammer
- Superpower
- Stone Edge
Description: Great revenge killer and a much better Grassy Terrain setter than your Gogoat.

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Spe/252 Atk/4 Def
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Rock Tomb
- Bullet Seed
Description: This set utilizes Technician much more than your current one. In addition, Rock Tomb makes for a great speed lowering utility move as Breloom is pretty slow. Bullet Seed is to break sashes, Sturdy, and Substitutes.

Serperior @ Psychium Z
Ability: Contrary
Timid Nature
EVs: 252 Spe/252 SpA/4 SpD
- Mirror Coat
- Dragon Pulse
- Leaf Storm
- Giga Drain/Hidden Power (Fire)
Description: Whether you choose Giga Drain for recovery or Hidden Power Fire to cover for Steel and Grass types is up to you, but I prefer HP Fire. This set is a great revenge killer as unless it gets outsped, it gets a free +2 in special attack from Leaf Storm. The main reason I chose this, however, was for his Psychic and Dragon coverage, and most of all, his ability to utilize a Z-Move much better than Roserade.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Relaxed Nature
EVs: 252 HP/68 Def/188 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes
- Protect
Description: A great lead and hazard setter. Explosion isn't viable as Ferrothorn likes to be more of an annoying Leech Seed + Leftovers tank/staller than a "set hazards and blow up" sort of thing. One good example of this is Diance, who covers this role quite nicely.

Cradily @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
Careful Nature
EVs: 252 HP/252 SpD/4 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide
- Recover
- Toxic
Description: Just here for Storm Drain and Stealth Rock. That's basically it.
