Pokémon Rate My Team

I'm doing Competive Batting in Ultra Sun. Here is the Tyrantrum Moveset I'm using for Battle Tree Super Singles:
Tyrantrum @ Lax Incense
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Dragon Tail
- Double Team
- Earthquake

So, this Tyrantrum sets up Stealth Rock. Dragon Tail is to force a Pokemon to switch out and send in a new Pokemon, causing the Pokemon that entered the battle to take damage from Stealth Rock. Its also useful to get rid of Setup Sweepers such as Swords Dance Gallade. Double Team is to be annoying. Earthquake is a strong move to have. So, what are good teammates that would go well with this Tyrantrum Moveset? Please help!

Hi! This Tyrantrum Moveset is very amusing (thanks for posting it on my wall as well). My one suggestion is that I’m not sure when you’d click double team. The strategy seems to be spam dragon tail, so you might not get a good opportunity to use it. Replacing it with a coverage move is probably good. I’d also change his EVs to defense because it’s sp. def. is terrible. I’d also give it a health berry instead to increase longevity.

Now, if you want to do a gimmicky stall team, I’d add chansey/ blissey. They have high sp. def. so you can switch it in if something is threatening tyrantrum. I’d do something like this:

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Protect
- Minimize/seismic toss
- Soft-Boiled

You can toxic stall them as another gimmick option.

Finally, have a sweeper. I’d suggest a steel type since fairies are immune to dragon tail. Mawile is probably good since it also hits fighting types, which both are weak to.

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Ice Punch/swords dance

Sucker punch because mawile is slow, ice punch for ground types.

Hope I helped!
