This team's main requirements are:

  • A solid Sp.Atk apart from Yveltal to which you can Baton Pass from Calyrex-S.
  • A good Dynamaxer, which this team lacks apart from Yveltal.
  • Zygarde and Primal Groudon counter.
  • Is Leftovers or Rest Tyranitar better for this team?
  • Is Zacian-C or Mega Rayquaza much better as a physical attacker?

Primal Kyogre can take out a Zygarde and can switch in to and OHKO defensive groudons with water attacks
I’d say Mega Ray>Zacian, but they are close
And with Mega Ray on your team, run Leftovers>Mega tyranitar

(note:I’m an idiot, so take these with a grain of salt)
Okay, but Arceus-Ground > Primal Kyogre since it can Refresh to cure Glare paralysis while Rest from PK isn't that reliable. I need to check offensive Groudon, defensive are handled by Ho-Oh.
I don't know much, but I think that defensive Lugia > defensive Ho-oh.

I think that Mega-Ray > Zacian. But Primal is right that they are so close.
Lugia is total taunt bait, and having it worsens matchup against Yveltal and Calyrex-S which Ho-Oh can handle easily
I feel like if you're going to run Baton Pass on Calyrex, use Focus Sash instead of Buginium Z
No, Baton Pass Z-Rex is different from those Sash gimmicks. Buginium Z allows it to OHKO all of its counter after a Nasty Plot, which is done without a Sash on the predicted switch-ins.
