I like this team. It got me somewhere other builds didn't. But I think it has potential to be greater. It's your typical Legendary spam and National Dex team, so let's hop in!
The Build
Necrozma-Dusk-Mane @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Sunsteel Strike
- Earthquake
- Morning Sun
- Dragon Dance
The standard Necrozma-DM set. Bulky physical attacker + Morning Sun
- Sunsteel Strike: Your standard, hard-hitting Sunsteel Strike. OHKOs potent threats like Xerneas and bypasses Shedinja
- Earthquake: Coverage
- Morning Sun: Reliable utility move to support Necrozma's bulk
- Dragon Dance: Great boosting move to pair up with Weakness Policy boost
My Necrozma gets 2HKOed by Timid, max attack Close Combat from Zacian-C. I think the EV spreads need a little bit more work.
Zacian-Crowned @ Rusted Sword
Ability: Intrepid Sword
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Behemoth Blade
- Close Combat
- Play Rough
Standard offensive set. Jolly nature to outspeed Timid Eternatus.
- Swords Dance: Just to take up move slots. Boosts Zacian's already crazy Attack stat even higher.
- Behemoth Blade: Staple move on Zacian. STAB and does 2x damage to Dynamaxed Pokémon.
- Close Combat: Non-bulk invested Necrozma-DM gets 2HKOed by this.
- Play Rough: STAB and coverage.
Marshadow @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spectral Thief
- Shadow Sneak
- Close Combat / Ice Punch / Drain Punch
- Swagger / Bulk Up
Yeah, yeah, I know. Swagger Marshadow is gimmicky.
- Spectral Thief: Staple move on Marshadow. DDance users? Not a problem.
- Shadow Sneak: Priority + Technician boosted STAB, giving Marshadow one of the best priority moves in the game.
- Close Combat/Ice Punch/Drain Punch: Coverage
- Swagger/Bulk Up: For more damage.
Yveltal @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Roost
- Taunt / Defog
ImposterCalyrex-S improof and absolutely destroys Chansey, Shuckle, and Smeargle. Be wary of potential Trick AssaultVest users. Heavy-Duty Boots prevent getting 3HKOed from Astral Barrage.
- Knock Off: Knock off is an even more potent option thanks to Dark Aura. If you can predict a switch in from Scarf Kyogre, you're safe.
- Sucker Punch: Destroy Calyrex-S. Gengar-Mega, and other deadly Ghost walls. Goes nicely with Taunt.
- Roost: Utility move
- Taunt/Defog: Destroy Smeargle, Shuckle, Blissey, Chansey, and other imposing threats. Prevent mons from setting up Stealth Rock and prevent Rocks from breaking Sashes.
Calyrex-Shadow @ Focus Sash
Ability: As One (Spectrier)
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Astral Barrage
- Psyshock
- Nasty Plot / Aromatherapy
- Pollen Puff / Draining Kiss
Focus Sash deepens sweeping potential and provides the ability to get Psychic Terrain. Outspeeds and walls the dangerous Zacian-C.
- Astral Barrage: Staple and primary attacking move. Massive 120 BP! Remember to conserve it, as it only has 8pp.
- Psyshock: Prevent OHKO Shadow Sneak with Max Mindstorm's Psychic Terrain. Damages Chansey and Blissey.
- Nasty Plot/Aromatherapy: Utility
- Pollen Puff /Draining Kiss: To damage Dark types, and do SOMETHING about Yveltal
Eternatus @ Power Herb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 156 HP / 100 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Meteor Beam
- Dynamax Cannon
- Toxic / Recover / Toxic Spikes
- Flamethrower / Sludge Wave / Sludge Bomb / Shadow Ball
Meteor-Beam Eternatus is one of the best wall breakers in the game. Your standard set.
- Meteor Beam: Sp.Atk boost + high BP = instant sweep. Awkward to counter late game.
- Dynamax Cannon: STAB + Double DMG when Dynamaxed.
- Toxic/Recover/Toxic Spikes: Utility
- Flamethrower/Sludge Wave/Sludge Bomb/Shadow Ball: Coverage
