This is a rain team I originally built for ZU, but Damp Rock is banned so I went with PU instead, and since I'm mostly inexperienced with the tier, I wanted opinions and possibly some adjustments for the team.
The team in action (well kinda)/The team itself

Liepard @ Damp Rock
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rain Dance
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Encore

Liepard is the team's lead, using Prankster + Rain Dance to support the rest of the team. It also brings even more support with Encore to counter setup sweepers, U-turn to pivot into its teamates and STAB Knock Off to remove items while doing good damage.

Raichu @ Life Orb
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder
- Surf
- Focus Blast
- Nasty Plot

Raichu can protect its teamates by coming against opposing electric types and absorbing their STAB moves with Lighning Rod. I chose it over Jolteon due to Surf and Focus Blast shattering annoying Ground types and the annoying Gigalith far better than any other move learnt by the Eeveelution. Thunder of course gets far more reliable on Rain and is a good measure against opposing Water types and Nasty Plot boosts its otherwise mediocre SpA without relying on Lighning Rod.

Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Hydro Pump
- Giga Drain
- Ice Beam
- Knock Off

(I don't actually know the reason behind the 29 HP EVs but whatever). Ehem... Ludicolo is the team's main revenge killer, hitting quite hard without needing any prior setup (other than rain of course :P). Hydro Pump is chosen over Weather Ball due to the latter being more reliable against Gigalith and also whenever I can't set rain back up. Giga Drain is secondary STAB and makes quick work of Quagsire and also hit other water types like Jellicent, Wishiwashi and Lanturn hard. Ice Beam hits Grass (RIP Tangela) and Flying types and Knock Off cripples switch-ins, especially NFE mons like Sneasel and the otherwise hard-counter Ferroseed by removing their Eviolite.

Carracosta @ White Herb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Shell Smash
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Jet
- Surf

Carracosta is mostly a late-game cleaner, using Shell Smash to sweep weakened teams. Stone Edge is STAB and hits several Water resists for at least neutral damage (Barring mini-Ferrothorn, which needs to be removed earlier), Aqua Jet's priority is always useful, pottencially for revenge killing weakened Sand Rush Sanslash on Sandstorm (f***ing Gigalith) and Surf is the main water STAB and it hits phisically defensive mons like Regirock harder than Liquidation.

Poliwrath @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Drain Punch
- Liquidation
- Ice Punch

The Frog is here as another late-game cleaner, this time featuring Belly Drum + Swift Swim to break massive holes on the opposing team or even sweep alright. Drain Punch is the chosen fighing STAB so revenge killing it is much harder than it would be with Close Combat. Liquidation doesn't need much explaining at all and Ice Punch is here for, again, coverage against Grass and Flying types

Qwilfish @ Black Sludge
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Liquidation
- Poison Jab
- Aqua Jet

Qwilfish is the main thing keeping my team safe against otherwise annoying Fairy types like Ribombee and particularly Comfey, the latter being quite threating against my team overall. Its STAB Poison Jab doesn't only hits Fairies though, it shreds most Grass types as well. Liquidation is the main water STAB and Aqua Jet is here yet again for its useful priority. Finnaly Swords Dance+ Swift Swim is a fierce combo of Strengh and Speed that compensates for the Ballon Pokémon's mediocre stats overall.

Good to see a post with descriptions for once.
I think you might need a secondary rain setter just in case Liepard dies and you can't get the rain back up.
Agree, does politoed, work?
@Salamence1234 nope, drizzle is banned
Might I suggest running rain dance on qwilfish over aqua jet? With the swift swim boosts and speed evs it should outspeed most things on the tier that can ohko it.

Also hurricane is a must on most rain teams. Articuno Galar can abuse this with its higher sp atk abd decent speed.
