Pokémon Rate My Team

Ok I hope I don't get "banned" again for whatever reason but anyways I want you guys to actually help improve and change my flying mono team here so I can win more often in showdown since this team is a hit or a miss or however it goes. I want to at least keep Altaria when you guys are replacing mons even if I can't use its mega bc of these rules. Aside from that here's my team.

The Lead (Physical Sweeper)

Héroe (Braviary) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 116 HP/252 Atk/140 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crush Claw
- Brave Bird
- Rock Slide
- Tailwind

Of course this is the mon that kicks things off with speed and tailwind is that for this team even though it's only 4 turns but I get some good kills with this one, especially with rock slide.

The Special Attacker (Special Sweeper)

Charizart (Charizard) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze ---> Drought
EVs: 252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Roost
- Solarbeam
- Hidden Power [Ice]

My greatest attacker to this team with a pretty fast set which sometimes makes it out alive or dies in a couple turns, either way hidden power really helps in some situations for this mon.

The Bulky Trapper (Special Wall)

Ángel (Altaria) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/4 SpA/252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Roost
- Protect
- Fire Spin
- Perish Song

Here's my favorite pokemon, sadly I couldn't use its mega bc of these rules so I'm trying to cope with this last resort of a set to trap the most dangerous one in the enemy team, used to also as a bulky lead but it only succeeds like once, it fails most of the time.

The Defensive Wall (Defensive Wall)

Darknight (Corviknight) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Iron Head
- Body Press
- Iron Defense

I'm surprised how good this mon is overall in all the battles I fought with Corv. It's a great defensive wall with great recovery and set ups, only problem is probably status, taunt, and of course fire attacks aside from that Corv is great.

The Physical Attacker (2nd Physical Sweeper)

Tierra (Landorus-Therian) @ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 68 HP/252 Atk/184 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Polish
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge

Here's my choice of a pokemon to defend against those pesky electric types, although Landorus did sweep an entire electric team and it failed sweeping a different electric team. So yeah it's a 50/50.

The Bulky Support (Special Wall/Support)

Océano (Mantine) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/36 Def/220 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Roost
- Air Slash
- Defog

Here's my final one in this team being a water/flying type for this team and at first it was going to be Swanna but Mantine is better defensively and it's an ok mon for this team but yeah that's it.

Anyways I hope you guys can help improve this team since i'm not that good at team building and i'm terrible at following rules, Anyways please help me here for this team and maybe make fun of my smooth Brain.

Whoops, meant to put 160 Def.

Dragonite can use Dragon Dance Dragon Claw Earthquake and Roost with HDB, max attack max speed evs, and a Jolly nature

As for G-Moltres vs G-Zapdos, it depends on what set you use on Lando-T. You can use either Scarf Lando-T with Earthquake Stone Edge Knock Off U-turn with Max Atk Speed EVs with Jolly Nature and have G-moltres over Altaria, or make Altaria G-Zapdos with Lando-T having a set of Stealth Rock Earthquake Knock Off U-turn/Toxic with Leftovers, 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 Spe with an Impish Nature.

(Also, you can only use Mega Altaria on Dragon since the Mega has to maintain the same type as the type it is on)
Ok well what do I do with the last 4 EVs for Landorus-t and dragonite also I'm also hoping for an answer to this very question from someone to finalize this team to do better. Also I need to know what moves and what stats I need most for both G-moltres and G-zapdos
Put the last 4 EVs in SpD (assuming the Lando-T set you plan to use is Choice Scarf). I could probably put what I put in the comments as an answer, though I'll probably end up doing either later today or tomorrow.

Galarian Zapdos:
Zapdos-Galar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Throat Chop

Galarian Moltres:
Moltres-Galar @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Berserk
EVs: 64 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 188 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Modest Nature
- Agility
- Nasty Plot
- Fiery Wrath
- Hurricane
Thanks might as well work on my monotype team for dragon
Maybe you should make mega charizard y into mega charizard x

Hello. I'll be putting what team changes I said in the comments as the team rate. So, here we go.

Usually, I tell the team changes before giving the Pokepaste, but I'll start with the Pokepastes since there are two ways I'm going with this team. One team has Galarian Moltres, while the other has Galarian Zapdos. Here are the Pokepastes:

Flying Revisions with Galarian Moltres
Flying Revisions with Galarian Zapdos

Changes:

Braviary -> Dragonite: Unfortunately, Braviary isn't good in ND Monotype. Dragon Dance Dragonite servers as a better physical wallbreaker. Here's the set for reference:

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Roost

Earthquake targets Steel-types such as Iron Treads, Heatran, non Air Balloon Gholdengo and Pokemon such as Toxapex and Alolan Muk. Roost lets Dragonite stay alive longer and can let it get off multiple Dragon Dances.

Mega Charizard Y: Focus Blast/Scorching Sands -> Hidden Power Ice since Focus Blast can hit Heatran and Tyranitar, Pokemon that are usually problematic for Mega Charizard Y. Scorching Sands can be used to hit Heatran without relying on Focus Blast to land.

Altaria: Altaria being replaced is what made me go two ways with this team. If you use Galarian Moltres, use Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian. If you use Galarian Zapdos, use Stealth Rock Landorus-Therian. Here are the sets for Galarian Moltres and Galarian Zapdos:

Moltres-Galar @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Berserk
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 64 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 188 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Agility
- Nasty Plot
- Fiery Wrath
- Hurricane

Here's an explanation for the EVs, as I posted that moveset on the Galarian Moltres moveset thead:

188 Speed EVs allow Galarian Moltres to outspeed Mega Swampert in rain at a +2 speed boost. The 64 HP EVs and 4 Special Defense EVs are honestly just there to give Galarian Moltres a little bit of bulk.

Zapdos-Galar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Throat Chop
- U-turn

Throat Chop lets Galarian Zapdos hit Ghost-types like Gholdengo, Skeledirge, and Spectrier super effectively.

Corviknight: Corviknight set is fine, though generally Celesteela is the Steel/Flying used on Flying teams. Here is the set for reference if you want to use Celesteela:

Celesteela @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 SpD
Impish Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Toxic

The Special Defense EVs let Celesteela avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Ice Beam from Greninja. (I replaced Corviknight with Celesteela on the Galarian Zapdos team since Celesteela works better on that team)

Landorus-Therian: The set you use depends on what you replaced Altaria with. Here are the sets:

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off

Mantine: Heavy-Duty Boots -> Leftovers to prevent being chipped by hazards, Bold -> Calm Nature, made the EV spread 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe to outspeed Adamant Azumarill, and Haze -> Air Slash to be able to get rid of the boosts from setup sweepers.

That's all of the changes made to the team! Hope this helps, and good luck laddering! :)

Thanks so much man :) i've definitely had better results with this team even if I sometimes lose (bc I forgot to give dragonite multiscale instead of inner focus) anyways thanks for the help ive decided to use
Mantine
Charizard-Y
Corviknight (don't worry corviknight does really great esspecially against those fairy teams and other physical attackers)
G-Zapdos (Although I think G-moltres)
Landorus-T
Dragonite
And yeah well Thanks again for the help really appreciate it
No problem! :)
hey hey bro what about hisuian braviary? I heard it's really good thanks to its tinted lens ability?
I’d say that Moltres-G outclasses it as a setup sweeper.
