Flutter Mane @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Power Gem
Flutter Mane is what I build this team around. I used a standard moveset and ev set. Mane is used as a sweeper, and it the right conditions can sweep an entire team without help. Its moveset can hit most types for super-effective, and can sweep certain teams alone, notably Dark. A powerful counter against Mane is Dragapult. Pult can OHKO Mane with Shadow Ball and outspeed it. If Mane is out of the way, it can sweep Dragon teams too. Another counter to FMane is scarf Urshifu, which can OHKO it with Surging Strikes.
Gholdengo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Make It Rain
- Shadow Ball
- Trick
- Focus Blast
Scarf Gholdengo is quite a powerful offensive tool and provides speed control against many Pokemon. Trick can be used against set-up Pokemon, and the rest of the moves are quite standard. Gholdengo is good against Pult, as it can outspeed and OHKO it. One big threat against Gholdengo is scarf Roaring Moon. This can OHKO it with Knock Off. DD Moon is also a threat, as it can set-up on Gholdengo and then OHKO it.
Ceruledge @ Focus Sash
Ability: Weak Armor
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Poltergeist
- Bitter Blade
- Shadow Sneak
- Swords Dance
This is a standard Sash Ceruledge set, and it fits well with the team structure. Ceruledge is a powerful revenge killer than can be brought in to almost any Pokemon. Ceruledge can be brought in to OHKO DD Moon after some damage from Gholdengo and Swords Dance. Shadow Sneak is to take care of threats like Mimikyu. 2 Pokemon which Ceruledge struggles against are Dragapult and Urshifu. These Pokemon can both OHKO Ceruledge with multi-hitting moves which break the sash.
Pecharunt @ Black Sludge
Ability: Poison Puppeteer
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Malignant Chain
- Shadow Ball
- Parting Shot
- Recover
Pecharunt is a powerful defensive Pokemon and pivot which can wall many attackers and deal good damage. Pecharunt cannot be OHKOd by most Pokemon in the meta and is very difficult to remove from the field. Pecharunt counters Urshifu, which is a big threat to this team. None of Urshifu's moves can deal good damage to Pecharunt, and it can deabilitate Urshifu with poison from Malignant Chain. However, Pecharunt struggles against set-up sweepers, particularly Pokemon with Calm Mind, and if played around properly, can be removed, leaving nothing to stop Urshifu.
Dragapult @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 100 Atk / 184 SpA / 224 Spe
Naive Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Hex
- Dragon Darts
- U-turn
Dragapult is a great support, pivot, and revenge killer. Thunder Wave instead of Will-O-Wisp to slow down opposing Pokemon which may pose a threat. I used a slightly more offensive ev spread and only put 224 evs into speed, as I would also prefer Pult to do some damage. I am not very satisfied with this Pult, and would like a suggestion for an alternative set or a replacement.
Zoroark-Hisui @ Leftovers
Ability: Illusion
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hex
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute
Zoroark's main purpose on this team is to oppose other Ghost teams and to provide some support. I am also not very satisfied with Zoroark, and would like an alternative set or a replacement.
Overall, this team struggles against Scarf Pult, Urshifu, and Meowscarada (which does not threaten any Pokemon, but is hard to play against.) I used to have Sinistcha and Brambleghast, but I replaced them with Zoroark and Pult (please tell me if I should bring them back.)
