Why did the Choice Band on my Barraskewda not work when it was dynamaxed [closed]

Question

So this is what happened:
I was in a 2 star max raid battle, and I dynamaxed my Barraskewda. I used 2 Max Geysers, but at the end to to finish it I used Max Darkness and it actually let me.

Also. just so you know, Dynamax removes the effect of Choice items like Choice Band so you can swap moves. However, do note that you don't get the 1.5x boost too.
