lol, EVs in that old set are a bit off. 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def is what I usually run now.

Possibly the most dangerous pokemon in the whole metagame with deadly stab Water s
Spout further boosted by rain.
And your replacing that for signal beam? We have a small problem.
Signal beam is bad coverage.
These calculations are considering im using a similar Kyogre to what you currently have (Which is below) against your standard 4hp 252Spatk 252Speed Mewtwo
Water Spout :
138.5% - 163.2%- Thats allot with no boosts right?
Signal Beam :
61.8% - 73.1% and thats super effective.....
If your worried about the reliablity of Water Spout then Surf or Hydro Pump is vaible*
Surf :
87.5% - 103.1% Its minimum damage is more than a super effective max damage Signal Beam.

If your wondering where i got the calculations from This may answer your question.
Im only half way through Kyogre so i will sav eyou the googling time So this will help.

252 Hp / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Calm Nature
-Water Spout/Surf
-Ice Beam
-Calm Mind
Okay this has always been my Kyogre set i never use any other appart from scarf and this though im more a drought kinda guy.
Water Spout over Surf, Sub over Thunder.
But set up a sub while they will commonly switch to a pokemon such as an apposing Kyogre with Thunder or palkia with Thunder.
They will attack and break the sub (By now you will have almost full health again thanks to two turns of leftovers after the current turn) You calm mind they can hardly touch you thanks to the Hp investment and SDef boost.

33.2% - 39.1% The amount of damage the standard scarf palkia will do to you with a thunder after set up.
You now have +1 spatk ice beam will do a nice 2 hit ko or alternativly you could set up two possibly three more.
Eventually it will be doing didly squat to you and a sub is now easy to set up.

Ok this guy hurts right but how about Arceus-Ghost, it has bette rtype synergy with the team as well as being a great counter to the Speed killer Arceus.

Okay so i couldnt find a Arceus-G sprite and Litwick is similar type wise so here is a Litwick pic.
Anyway ill just give you the set, this guy is a beast in Ubers and not many people no it. ;'(

@Spooky Plate
252 Hp / 4 SAtk / 252 Speed
Timid Nature
-Calm Mind
-Focus Blast
This is all you need and it is a very handy pokemon as it hits most of ubers at least neutrally without giving pokemon like Terrakions atk boosts ( cough cough Arceus-D).
The pokemon that it doesnt hit such as Arceus-N the Extreme killer cant touch this guy and a +2 Shadow claw is still a 3 hit ko thanks to sheer bulk and the investment.
Focus Blast hits them pokemon like Darkrai, Arceus, Dialga and Excadrill and with a few boosts even Dark Void Darkrai has problems with you.

This guy is in Ubers for 2 reasons.

  • Typing that alows it to wall pokemon like Zekrom allowing it to cripple pokemon
  • And the main fact that it can use its only usable role, a hazard pokemon.

And the role you are trying to use (Tank with rocks is better suited to its spikey friend)
So either use this guy or standard Forretress
@Rocky Helmet/Leftovers
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Sassy Nature (0 Speed Evs)
-Leech Seed
-Stealth Rock/Spikes (Bronzong if you choose to use him can use rocks)
-Gyro Ball/Power Whip
Rocky Helmet over leftovers to be a good switch in when a Zekrom try's to catch Kyogre out, Spikes over Stealth Rocks so many pokemon can use rocks and Gyro ball over Power Whip, Power Whip is more common to counter Kyogre and Groudon though it does almost nothing to Groudon and Not so much to Kyogre either.
Gyro Ball will hit all scarfers for at least 20% damage and Deoxys-S for almost half.

Standard Forretress
@Leftovers/Red Card
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spdef
Impish Nature
-Rapid Spin
-Stealth Rock
-Volt Switch/Toxic Spikes
Red Card is an item ive never used but i know that it can be used very well and especially on forretress as it gives some form of phazing as well as an anti boosting item.
Volt Switch is over Toxic Spikes as T-Spikes is noobish IMO but doesnt mean you shouldnt use it.
Rapid Spin is crucial if you want Kyogre to be winning these weather wars.

A very obvious replacment and is going to give you some form of physical support to your team witch at the moment you are lacking.

@Life Orb/Choice Specs
4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
-Ice beam
-Flamethrower/Aura Strike
Life Orb over Specs and Strike over Flamethrower due to rain.
Psystrike is a very powerfull move and will destroy many pokemon after hazards damage.

That set will not hit hard enough for ubers and though it is a Rain abusing set it isnt actually as effective as a pysichal set due to the coverage it provides itself.
Also it doesnt support the Special side of the team we already have 1 pokemon that has the exact same coverage almost as well as it hitting twice as hard so i recomend the standard pysichal set.

Not so common in Ubers but neither is Dragonite.
This guy has one thing over Dragonite and thats speed, which is also something it has over half the commonly used tier.
One Dragon Dance and this kid is away.
Though as i said Dragonite is still avalible and is easyer to set up with despite its very common weaknesses and its ability to be countered easly as it has Multiscale.
The only problem now is that Allot of the pokemon it can out speed with +1 dd are usually scarfed themselfs making life tough.
Salamance runs a similar set to Dragonite and if you you can squeeze a Rayquaza in somewhere that forms the RayMence combo which is very hard to beat if quazer is scarfed.

Talking of the devil, Rayquaza
@Life Orb/Focus Sash/Scarf
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 spd
Hasty Nture/Adamant
-Swords Dance/Dragon Dance/Earthquake
-Extreme Speed
Italics is the scarf varient.
Scarf is very powerfull and brings great speed to the team.
V-Create does not get powered down thanks to Air-Lock and hits Ferrothorn very hard which your team origionally failed at.
The rest is self explanitry and tbh i would use this guy just because Ubers is about power it does not take skill to win battles at early stages not untill you rank up higher do you need to get your thinking caps on.

At this point i have run out of space and has shaved off so much :( so bronzongs in a comment.

Straight off i dont feel this guy has the big potentiol to preform in Ubers as its outclassed by Dialga but seen as its Josh's set whos going to argue.
But i will still suggest Dialga
Im not going to give you a set because i think you may want to keep Bronzong and more importantly my fingers hurt.

Sorry this is in a comment i was at almost 9000 characters i have lost so much information, i spent over an hour and a half on this so please dont hate badly as i feel i have replaced allot of the team, for the better at least.
Type in Arceus
Put animated sprites
Find your sprite :D
Wow Blobyolo, thanks so much for your input. Since you did all this, wanna help me test it one day??
Sure I'll test I love ubers :)
