Hello, and welcome to the RMT.

This team, my "Official Never Used Team", uses the Smogon Tiers. This team was designed to experince a tier besides OU, and because of the fact that I never competed in the NU tier before. It was always OU, but because of the never ending, ever annoying, and truly "Over Used" Rain teams, I am going to take a looooong break from the OU tier. I apologize in advanced for the lack of quality; I am attempting to write a RMT from the DSi. (This thing barely has intenet). That being said, enough talk, here is the team.

Cinccino (F) @ Choice Band

Ability: Skill Link
EV's: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
(+Spd, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Tail Slap
- Rock Blast
- Bullet Seed
Role: Physical Sweeper / Lead

Misdrevious (F) @ Eviolite

Ability: Levitate
EV's: 252 HP / 126 Def / 126 SAtk / 4 SDef
(+Def, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Will-o-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Taunt
Role: Mixed Wall

Luxray (M) @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Ice
- Signal Beam
- Sleep Talk
*Sleep Talk may needa little explaing. Sleep Talk allows Lux to absorb Spore from Amoongus and activate Sleep Clause.

Gurdurr (M) @ Eviolite

Ability: Guts
EV's: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Ice Punch
- Bulk Up

LOL, answering my own RMT.

This team suffers from priority users in general. But honorable mentions go to Toxic Boost Zangoose and Absol. Both can be somewhat checked by either Luxray's Intimidate (if they have yet to Sword Dance), and Misdrevious' Will-o-wisp. These tactics are predictable, however, you can normally switch in with Luxray and cause Absol's Sucker Punch to fail, or get hit by Zangoose's Quick Attack and reduce it's Toxic Boost (it still hurts, though). Misdrevious can switch into Absol's Sucker Punch, make it fail, and harshely neuter it with Will-o-Wisp, although it can always Swords Dance to negate the drop. This is possible due to Absols low Speed stat of 75, although it is possible that Absol can outspeed as well with dedicated Speed investment (which is typical). But note that with the Eviolite and Pain Split at disposl, Misdrevious is a Bulky pain (in the NU tier). Most Absols only carry Sucker Punch as their only STAB, too. Just burn it and stall the crap out of it. Zangoose is more of a problem. It doesn't rely on the opponent to attack to launch it's priority, and can prey on Misdrevious's lesser Defense stat. Gurdurr can eat a Normal type attack and Drain Punch the damage off though. But if he were to be knocked out, Zangoose could sweep. And Misdrevious as well. But any priority user can pose a threat. Although Lapras enjoys 25% of her health back from Basculin's Aqua Jet (a buff from a 25% reduction by Stealth Rocks), it could decimate my team. And JirachiCelebiMew's (JCM) BellyDance Linoone's Extremespeed is a BIG threat. But, yeah, priority users suck.
It is true that Gurdurr IS a counter, but I use him late in the game, while Absol is commonly used early. And if I switch to Gurdurr, my opponent will switch to another Pokemon. But yeah, Gurdurr can still Bulk Up on the switch, and sweep. I have problems if he dies, though. Thats a huge "if" though.
you did this on the DSi?!?!? BRAVO!
:D LOL! Yes sir It took some time but yes I did. But not everything. Dr.Flame gets credited for the sprites.
Maybe I should read the rules before I do something dumb again... :(

Well this is a really nice team, I wasn't expecting it to be so well built at all. The synergy is great and the roles and descriptions are spot on. However, there's a couple of things I see which can be fixed so this team can be even better. Let's do it :]

Cinccino
Life Orb is soo much better than Choice Band. Cinccino is a very powerful pokemon in NU, but it's very predictable. For example, you are out against an Amoonguss. You go for Tail Slap as they switch in their Golurk. Now they get a free sub, or a heavy hit on one of your pokemon. Life Orb still gives you a power boost, but doesn't lock you in, which is very useful for a fast, frail pokemon like her.

Misdreavus
Misdreavus looks pretty good, just replace Taunt for Heal Bell, it's pretty essential for a metagame with Spore lurking round every corner.

Luxray
Well, I've used Scarf Luxray before, and I can tell you that a mixed set works much better. Intimidate isn't really a reason to use it over, say, Electabuzz. Go with this:

Luxray (F) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Wild Charge
- Ice Fang
- Superpower
- Volt Switch

If this still isn't your cup of tea, then Electabuzz makes a great replacement, with much higher Speed and a useful ability.

Electabuzz (F) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
- Volt Switch

Gurdurr
Fantastic. Gurdurr is such an underrated threat. I have been trying out a spread of 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Atk with a lot of success - lets him take special hits much more easily while recovering with Drain Punch. However, it hinders his ability to revenge kill stuff like Cincinno at full health. Still a great option.

Lapras
Lapras is an okay 'mon, but I have a much better idea for this slot. Alomomola! Paired with Amoonguss, they form a fantastic Regenerator core that lets them comfortably wall most offensive threats in NU (damn expert belt Emboar). She has an amazing HP stat and solid Defense, which, along with her great ability, makes her ideal for a Wish passer. Here's the set most people run:

Alomomola (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic
- Waterfall

Wish/Protect combo for stalling and reliable recovery. Toxic for constant residual damage, because she has pretty awful offenses. Knock Off is also a great option in the last slot (credit to Mike :P) which cripples a lot of things that rely on their item, like eviolite users etc.

Amoonguss
Okay. Well, first off, a spread of 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef with a Calm nature works better in my experience, allowing the Alomomoonguss core to take hits from both sides of the offensive spectrum. Also, HP Rock may seem like a great move to cover his weaknesses, but in reality it just doesn't hit the things it's supposed to hard enough, especially with no investment. There are a lot of great options for that slot - Stun Spore, Sludge Bomb, and Synthesis being just a few. Other than that, he looks perfect.

Well, I'm done. Hope I helped :]
