Yeah, I like Skitty. I played as one in Red Rescue Team once and named her Cherry for some reason. And holy heck, she was powerful, mainly because she could learn Double Slap and Attract by level-up. Multi-hit moves are incredibly powerful in the Mystery Dungeon games, and Attract was great in Red Rescue Team. It could infatuate anything, and when Pokemon were infatuated, they couldn't attack. Like, at all. Definitely a starter/partner that I'd recommend. Unfortunately, Attract got less useful in later games. In the Explorers games, thanks to the gender mechanics, Attract would only infatuate Pokemon of the opposite gender, so infatuating Legends wasn't possible (with a couple exceptions of course). But after gender was kinda removed, Attract still wasn't as good as before, as Pokemon only failed to attack sometimes.

But in the old games? Skitty was a killer.
