Hmm, well, I try to be as nice to new users as I can, but if they turn out to be noobs I find it hard to keep my temper. It just helps to chat with someone you like ASAP, and maybe battle them.
Honestly, though, I haven't ever seen you be "mean" to new users.  IDK, just say "welcome to the site, read the rules, have a good day" and ignore them and that works fine. :P
