Well... Kronos does in fact return to his true form at the end of the 4th book. Yes you should read titans curse. And after the original series, there is a 5 book sequel series that is worth reading to. It is called heroes of olympus.

Not many, just mainly reading Manga and rereading PJO and HP. Also, what do you mean by "in gemstone"!
