Hi, welcome to the site. The reason the images in your BDSP in-game team not appearing is because the links were missing. Eg. it should look something like this:

https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/diamond-pearl/normal/infernape.png
Or, instead you could go to
https://pokemondb.net/sprites/torterra (the relevant Pokemon), click on the appropriate sprite and copy paste one of the codes in the place you'd want the image to be.
