Yeah Ice mono is not really good, though having Chien-Pao + Belly Drum Cetitan kinda helps it, so does the 50% defense boost from snow. Though Aboma is the only snow setter

But yeah, Dark is awesome. The meta is not really settled though, and won't be till HOME comes online (Just waiting for Swift Swim Basculegion with Last Respects in the rain)

Also, speaking of Monotype, Dark reigns supreme, with Fairy and Steel being a close second. Greninja being added makes Dark even more better, and just Steel/Fairy can beat a Dark mono in the hands of a good player. The mono is pretty fun, and it's been a pretty good experience with Dark mono (Kingambit goes brrrr?

Yeah, true. I know Greninja's Specs set goes brr. And sure, you can use the Steel team lol.

For Gen 9 Monotype, Ground, Fairy, Dark, Water are good types atm. Also, Greninja has recently joined the meta. It could make Dark and Water better. Greninja joining means that you could have Greninja be either Choice Specs or Choice Scarf, and Meowscarada use Choice Band or Choice Scarf.

Speaking of Mono Steel, I've been using a Steel Team in NatDex Mono that peaked 1500elo. Idk if I should try peaking the ladder with it, though I'm currently No. 27 on the NatDex Mono Ladder. Here's the Steel team if you're curious:
