After various searches I finally found this damn thing. This is definitely one of the longest songs and I don't know how many times I've seen it because I can't keep track of the last thousand.

/Chapter 5: Team Rocket\
Footsteps rushed towards us and the voices of men could be heard.
“HEY! Who’s there?!”
“What’s all that ruckus?!”
Two Team Rocket Grunts approached us, Poke Balls in hand. They glared at us, but Lance glared back, with his Dragonite stealing his expression.
“What are you doing he-”
“HEY! It’s that kid that trashed us back in the Slowpoke Well!” Exclaimed one of the grunts. “Now’s are chance for revenge!”
“Wait, no, I can explain,” I said, but the grunt didn’t listen. He prepared to throw a Poke Ball and fight, but Lance’s Dragonite rushed forward, sneering.
“Looks like the kid’s brought company,” said the grunt. “The more we defeat, the merrier.”
I looked in fear at the stare down between Lance and the grunts. The grunts were raging to battle, and Lance looked as if he was going to give a command any second. I didn’t want to turn away the grunts, but I didn’t know how to stop Lance.
“Dragonite, use Hyper-”
“DIALGA, ROAR OF TIME!!!” I yelled, throwing my Timer Ball onto the field. Old Timer appeared in all his shinyness and glory and obliterated the Dragonite.
“What was that for?!” Yelled Lance, in a state of fury.
“Sorry,” I said, stepping towards the grunts before turning around. I sent out all my Pokemon, Pear, Raticate, Covid, Kobra, Stalker, Gyarados, Old TImer, Lusterous, and even Togepi had a mean glare on his face. “I’m with Team Rocket now.”
“WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!” Both parties shouted.
“I’m tired of the typical tropes, beating the gyms and the Pokemon League, having to do everything for everyone. I want to do something different. I want to be who I want to be,” I preached.
“And how do we know we can trust you?” Asked the Grunts, getting suspicious. “You kicked us out of the Slowpoke Well!”
“Well, I tried to blend in, but you wouldn’t let me stick around. I needed the Well clear in order to shiny hunt,” I explained, patting Covid. “Besides, I’m already here and I only have 2 badges,” I said, showing off my badges while feeling a chill.
More grunts arrived. There was commotion among them, and after a bit, they came to a decision.
“Alright, we suppose we can trust you. But don’t pull any funny business!” The grunts lined up beside me, Poke Balls in hand. “Alright, Lance, we can do this the easy, painless way, or the hard way.”
Lance looked at me and all the grunts terrified and shocked, mostly because I betrayed him and I had 2 shiny gods of Sinnoh acting as my gaurds. Lance mumbled something and rushed out of the hideout.
I had successfully gained the trust of Team Rocket.
. . .
Team Rocket’s HQ was a lot more luxurious than I expected. From stashes of Rare Candies and Max Elixers to rare Pokemon not native to Johto. But the most surprising things in the joint were extensive amounts of Raycon earbuds, J!ns glasses, Vessi shoes, Dr. Squatch soap, and much more.
“Wow, how do they manage to get all this wonderful stuff?” I asked out loud.
“I know a guy who can get a lot of sponsors,” said a surprisingly handsome high-pitched voice Team Rocket Grunt from behind me. “I’m Grunty Boy, nice to meet you.”
“I’m Vipey. Nice to meet you too.”
A couple days later, I got an unexpected call from Lyra.
*riiiiiiiiiiing* *riiiiiiiiiiing*
Lyra: Hello, Vipey, it’s me, Lyra. How are you?
Vipey: I’m good.
Lyra: So, how’s it going, beating the gyms?
Vipey: So, about that...
(One lengthy explanation later...)
Lyra: ...You used HM moves without the gym badges? Are you sure that’s a good idea? You could get in a lot of trouble if someone were to find out! And if you’re not working to become champion, what are you doing? And what’s that noise behind you?
I heard Rocket Grunts talking nearby. I liked Lyra, but not enough to let her know I was part of Team Rocket. I moved to a quieter part of the building.
Vipey: They’re... friends of mine. And you don’t need to worry, nobody will find out.
That was a lie. Lance had saw my badges, and I don’t know what he intends to do with that information.
Vipey: Besides, I have my trusty partners beside me. I can handle anything.
That was another lie. Most of my party except Gyarados, Covid, and Pear were still in the 20s. I had to level them up more, so I wouldn’t always rely on Old Timer and Lusterous.
Vipey: As for what I’m doing, I’m not quite ready to share that yet...
Lyra: Oh no! It isn’t anything bad, is it?
Vipey: No, nothing too bad.
I heard a grunt calling me.
Vipey: I have to go now. I’ll visit you later.
Lyra: Ok, bye.
Vipey: Bye.
I’m going to have to find a way to tell Lyra the truth...
. . .
I arrived at my first Team Rocket meeting. I was still wearing the costume I took earlier instead of a formal uniform, but I didn’t mind, as the uniforms looked a bit uncomfortable.
“Alright,” started the Rocket Executive. I couldn’t see who they were, as they were turned around in their chair. “As we all know, we will take over the lighthouse in Goldenrod in a few weeks. But until then, we have other missions that need to be completed. The most important ones are the sail to Cianwood, which will happen in a few days. We’re also heading to the Goldenrod game corner to exchange our prize Pokemon for cash. But until then, you will travel in pairs to complete the missions I assign to you.” Several Co Executives started assigning Grunts into pairs and giving them missions. I looked around, listening to the other Grunts missions.
“Hey, new kid!” Said a C.E. Grunt. I was taken aback by the sudden voice of the grunt.
“Erm, sorry, wasn’t paying attention.”
The grunt pointed at another grunt, a female. “You’re with her,” he said.
“Sorry, but what are we supposed to do?” I asked.
“We have 3 objectives. Steal money, steal rare items, and get rare Pokemon. Now get going!”
“Yes sir.”

“Alright, newbie. Since you’re new to the stealing business, just leave everything to me and you go make yourself look Team Rocket-ey. Catch some Team Rocket type Pokemon or explore or something.”
Apparently, the grunt hadn’t noticed my grand entrance, showing off my shinies and gods of space and time. But I decided to take her advice and explore. Since I left to chase after the grunt I encountered earlier, I hadn’t taken the time to explore our current location, Ecruteak. Heck, I haven’t even explored the area to the left of the city.
I explored the city a bit and talked to a couple of people around the city (I wasn’t wearing my Rocket outfit, so they weren’t suspicious), but what really had me interested was the Burned Tower. Inside, I encountered and destroyed Silver, my “rival” who I’ve apparently never mentioned until now, and at the bottom of the tower were the legendary beasts. Raikou, Entie, Suicune. Oh, and some crazy guy named Eusine who was chasing them down or something. The beasts roared, hopped around, Suicune briefly flirted with me, then they ran away.
After the beast event, I decided to check up on the grunt I was assigned to. She stood outside the Poke Mart, preparing to walk in and steal. She had a Koffing and an Arbok, she’d obviously done this a couple times.
“Oh, you again,” she said with the same, careless expression. “You done seeing the sights?”
“Yeah...” I said. “Listen, I have an idea. You wait for my signal, jump in when it’s time.”
“Huh?”
“Just follow my lead.”
I stepped in front of the Poke Mart doors and let Togepi out of it’s Pokeball. I walked in with butterflies, rainbows, and gorgeous blooming flowers behind me. I stood in the center of the mart and snuck Togepi a rare candy.
“OH MY! MY TOGEPI’S EVOLVING!”
Togepi flashed a bright light, blinding everyone around. I snuck Stalker and Kobra out their Pokeballs and signaled for the grunt to enter.
“No! No! I don’t want my Togepi to evolve!” I screamed. “How do I stop it?!”
After swiftly working my way around the store, I yelled “B,” and Togepi ceased it’s evolution. The grunt’s Koffing used Smokescreen, and we escaped under the cover of darkness.
“HaHa!” The grunt laughed with joy. “That very creative.”
“Heh, I’ve done it before,” I explained, pulling the camera out of my bag.
“So, what’d you steal?”
“Well, between me, Kobra and stalker, I grabbed items off the shelves, Kobra stole the cash register, and Stalker collected some wallets, credit cards, and phones.”
“That Stalker of yours. He’s a weird one,” the grunt said. “As for me, I went behind the counter. They always have the best items under there.”
She was right. She had a treasure trove of rare candies, Max Elixers, Heart Scales, and much more.
“I’m curious though,” the grunt said. “How’d you manage to fit shelves worth of items into your bag?”
“It’s a trainer's bag,” I explained. “You can fit anything in here,” I said while pulling out my bike and fishing rod.
“Wow! You really can!” She exclaimed.
“…”
“…”
We just stood there for a while. I barely knew her, and she already felt like a friend to me. I knew if I’d stayed concentrated on my Dream Team Quest, I wouldn’t be feeling this right now.
“...Hey. What’s your name?”
“...Vanessa.”
“Vipey.”
“It was nice working with you. I can’t wait to work with you again,” said Vanessa.
“Same here.”
“Oh, and for future reference, you can buy TM70 Flash at the department store in Goldenrod.”
“Ha,” I chuckled. “Thanks.”
. . .
The next day, I flew to Goldenrod (without Fly of course) to meet up with Lyra in the department store. I stopped by the flower shop on the way there, and inside, I bought a Clefairy Doll and a TM for Flash, although I already had one (I forgot I got it in the Sprout Tower). I waited on the 6th floor, and eventually, Lyra walked in, cute as ever.
“Hi,” I said, making sure to pull out the seat for her.
“Hi, Vipey,” said Lyra, boasting a smile.
“It’s been a while since we last saw each other. Here, I brought you some gifts.” I presented the Clefairy Doll, the flowers, 10 Heal Balls, and $10,000 Poke Dollars. To the Doll, flowers, and Heal Balls, Lyra looked at in delight, but when she saw the money, she wore a petrified look.
“Vipey... Where did you get that much money?”
“When a trainer goes around a region, he can collect quite the profit,” I said with a chuckle. “Besides, I have an Amulet Coin.”
Okay, that was a lie. Well, it wasn’t, I did pick up the Amulet Coin, but I hadn’t attached it to any of my Pokemon. I also skipped most trainers, so most of my money came from Team Rocket.
“...Are you hiding something from me?” Asked Lyra. “Does this have something to do with your friends you mentioned earlier?”
I sighed. I still wasn’t ready to reveal I was a part of Team Rocket. That would ruin my relationship with Lyra. But I had to be a little honest.
“Well, sorta. I’m part of a secret operation, and I make a lot of money doing it. It’s the reason I’m not pursuing the gyms. It’s been a lot of fun. I’m not ready to share everything yet, but just know I really enjoy doing this.”
“Oh, I see! Don’t worry, I support you every step of the way!” Said Lyra, cheerfully. She kissed me on the cheek, and I blushed a bit. We spent the rest of the day together, exploring Goldenrod and walking around the National Park.

Over the next few days, I continued my operations as a Team Rocket Grunt. I had a couple more operations with Vanessa, as well as some with a grunt named Chris. During one of my operations with Chris, I thought of a plan that would certainly charm the Executives. But I would need to succeed first.
The day before, I had asked Kurt to prepare me some Fast Balls. I also bought Ultra Balls and trained Covid to level 33 to learn Mean Look. I was in Violet City with Chris, and I told him I needed to take care of something. He hesitantly agreed but told me not to keep him waiting long. I flew to Azalea Town, picked up my Fast Balls, and flew to Ecruteak to start the hunt.
Now by no means was I going to shiny hunt the legendary beasts. Ho-oh? Most likely. But not the beasts. Hunting roaming Pokemon is always a tedious task, and I was not about to do it. I went back and forth between Ecruteak City and Route 37, because apparently, the legendary beasts (Raikou and Entei) teleport each time someone enters a new location. Eventually, the grass set on fire, and hordes of Pidgey, Growlithe, Ledyba, and Stantler fled the grass.
“GEE! I wonder who THAT could be,” I said sarcastically, walking into the abnormally tall grass with my eyes closed.
There it was before me. The glorious flaming... Stantler on fire?!
“No! Shoo! Get away!” I swatted the burning Stantler into the nearby trees, setting the forest ablaze, but I didn’t care.
There it was before me. The glorious flaming legendary Entei before me. I threw Covid out into battle and commanded it to use Mean Look. Entei tried to run, but Covid’s eyes reached out and grabbed it’s legs, preventing it from fleeing. Then, I started chucking Fast Balls. The battle lasted a while, as Entei wouldn’t stop spitting fire, so I had to heal Covid. Then Entei used Roar. Yeeeeeaaah, I had to repeat the process of finding it again. I had a couple more encounters, but then, I encountered Raikou.
“So?” you may ask. What happened to make the encounter with Raikou so special I had to devote an entire paragraph about it? Did I somehow roll the odds, and by the grace of Arceus, find a shiny Raikou? Or did I find one searching for Raikou in the grass? Haha. No. What makes it special is that I actually caught the dang thing. I caught it on the first ball. It didn’t use Roar, it didn’t do too much (or any) damage, it just got in the ball. Then, I went for Entei. I decided to weaken it with Raticate’s Super Fang (I leveled it up to level 34), and then I threw balls. I ran out of Fast Balls, so I had to resort to Ultras, and after a few attempts, I caught Entei.
*riiiiiiiiiiing* *riiiiiiiiiiing*
Chris: Vipey! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?!
Vipey: I was caught up with something.
Chris: You were out of area for WAY too long. I’ll be sure to report this to the executives.
Vipey: But it w-
Chis: Look kid, just because you’re new to this doesn’t mean we’ll go easy on you. Now meet me at HQ.
Vipey: Yes sir...
Wow. Chris is a lot stricter than Vanessa.
. . .
I arrived back at HQ with Chris. I gave him a faint smile, but he glared back at me, anger in his eyes. As soon as we were down the stairs, he headed straight for the Executives’ office.
“Wait,” I called out.
Chris tuned around and glared.
“Give these to them while you’re there.” I handed Chris the Fast and Ultra Ball.
Chris snatched the balls and left.
…
It was not long after I arrived back at HQ when a Co Executive came to my room and escorted me to the Executives’ office. He told me to sit down in the chair and listen. I stepped into the dark room and the C.E. slammed the door behind me. I took my seat and watched the backwards facing office chairs. They were motionless. I felt a little chill. After a while, a male voice broke the silence.
“It is clear that you are no ordinary Team Rocket member. You made that obvious the day you first barged in here, declaring to be one of us.”
The first chair spun around. I recognized the Executive. I had fought him in the Slowpoke Well. Then another male voice spoke.
“You have defied the orders of the law. You have wandered out of area for extended periods of time, leaving your partner alone.”
The second chair turned around. In it was someone I’ve never seen before. He had purple hair and a purple beard. This time, a female voice spoke.
“However, you have proven your skill on multiple occasions. From seeking out the rarest, oddly colored Pokemon -though give us credit on the Gyarados, we did that- using unique and effective techniques to commit crimes, and even wandering out of area to obtain not one, but 2 Legendary Pokemon for Team Rocket’s use.”
The third chair did a 180 and revealed a woman with red hair much like Silver’s. Then, surprisingly, the fourth chair spun around, and a man with teal hair spoke.
“You have Pokemon much stronger and more capable than most of the grunts in here. You have gained the trust of multiple grunts; you have gained our trust. That’s why we, the Executive board, came to an important decision.”
“You are now a Team Rocket Executive.”
