My own tiny formatting guide for future reference (Exerts taken from the SGT starter guide thing by Fizz)

Linked text: Contain the text you want to link inside [ ] cornered braces, then immediately after this, paste the link to the webpage inside normal brackets ( ).

Bold text: Add two apostrophes ** at the start and end of the text you want to highlight.

Italic text: Add an apostrophe * at the start and end of the text you want to highlight.

Subheading text: Add two hashes ## to the front of the line of text you want to emphasize.

Blockquoted text: Add a right-angled bracket (aka 'more than' sign) > followed by a space in front of the text you want to highlight.
Image: First, declare you're sourcing an image with an exclamation point !. Then, immediately after, contain a description of the image inside [ ] cornered braces in case it won't load. Then, immediately after this, paste the link to the image inside normal brackets ( ). Image webpages usually end in .png, .jpg or .gif. Alternatively, click the photo icon in the bar above the text box and follow its instructions. Do not erase the code it generates.
