Prologue

    At the young age of 4, Lexi Carter was told that on the day she would turn 11, she would wake up in the world of Pokemon to make new friends and have adventures. Lexi always imagined life with the creatures known as Pokemon. She hung up posters of Pokemon on her bedroom walls and she researched everything she could. Her whole family had done the adventure too, and they brought home pictures of the lovely place.

    Lexi grew up fast, and before she knew it, her journey was just a year away. On her 10th birthday, she was told she would be going to the tropical region of Alola, the first in her family to do so. 364 days later, she was told to pack everything she needed. She wore a black tank top with a neon green and neon blue ombre heart on it, black ballerina jeggings, a neon green choker, neon blue high tops, and a backwards black cap in her midnight hair to bed. She slowly drifted to sleep.

PROLOGUE


The trees shook. The ground rumbled. Some dragon-type roared in the distance. And one little boy was born. It was a strange thing, for a child to be born at a time like that. Why, you ask? At that moment, something rather disturbing happened. Time shifted. The universe itself moved. And that little boy, without knowing it, became the greatest threat to the Pokéarth's survival ever. And yet, he was also the one who would eventually save it from all those things he supposedly caused.

The baby boy was beautiful, his mother said. She and his father blessed him under the Pokémon Flareon. But to name him directly after the Pokémon they worshiped would be insulting it. So his name was to be Flaweon. And little Flaweon was to save the Pokéarth.
