I’m going back and forth between partner cap Pikachu and Exeggcute. I’m doing an Exeggcute giveaway on Reddit for Easter (although I plan to be giving some away on the DB’s Discord 2 hours in advance of the Reddit post, as kind of like “early access” I guess).
Fun fact, the Natu giveaway for Christmas only happened because of the upcoming Easter giveaway; I started hunting Exeggcutes around mid-December and I decided to research what would be the perfect Pokémon for mass-chaining Exeggcute would be. Turns out it’s Xatu, since it resists all of Exeggcute’s attacks, has Synchronize for natures, and has U-Turn, which is good for Exeggcute since its ridiculous call rate means about that a new Exeggcute appears about ~97% of turns, and I don’t like switching or using Leppa Berries if there are two Exeggcutes. I was breeding a bunch of Natus when I decided “hey, if I’m going to have this many Xatus, I want one to be shiny.” I hate Masuda Method, so I chained Natus until I got one with Modest and Synchronize. Then I had 6 spares right around Christmas time, so it all worked out.
