Wall for trachy (page 39)

Just finished rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender, which I haven't seen since it originally aired. Just as good as I remember it being. A great mix of action, strong character development, and humor. The four part finale in particular is a masterpiece, especially the thirty minute fight scene.

I've only played Awakening as well, and it's AMAZING. I got addicted to it over the summer, and I still play it. Waiting for some cash to float by so I can get DLC.

Went 4-0 tonight during my MtG draft. Did not lose a single game. My deck had no Rares or Mythics in it to boot. Here is my deck:

Creatures:
x1 Selfless Cathar, x2 Kinsbaile Skirmisher, x1 Sungrace Pegasus, x1 Ajani's Pridemate, x2 Midnight Guard, x1 Geist of the Moors, x1 Razorfoot Griffin, x1 Constricting Sliver

Spells:
x1 Oppressive Rays, x2 Divine Favor, x2 Raise the Alarm, x1 Pillar of Light, x1 Solemn Offering, x3 Sanctified Charge, x3 Triplicate Spirits

Land:
x17 Plains

I also put in a Heliod's Pilgrim from my sideboard during my last match, since my Divine Favors and Oppressive Rays were very helpful against the opponent I was facing, although it didn't see use.

Trachy, could you recommend a film for me? Any genre except romance is fine. I need some winding down time and you're the first guy I thought of when it came to recommendations :P

Watched The Amazing Spider Man 2. Was not very good, and is especially bad when we consider how amazing the second in the original Spider-Man movies was. One of the major problems was the huge focus on the Gwen Stacy-Peter Parker relationship, devoting almost no time at all to the development of the villains. The only good thing I can say about the movie is that the actor who played Harry Osborn got the Green Goblin laugh right, and that they at least killed off Gwen (although they failed to have her neck snapped by Spider-Man's web).

Meh, Season 3 was no Season 1, and it wasn't on the level of anything TLA did. One of the biggest things that bothers me is the ease of travelling from place to place in Legend of Korra. In TLA, it took the group an entire season just to travel between kingdoms. Here, it's just an episode or two. Pretty big disconnect. It's like if they were to have a Lord of the Rings film where travel between the Shire and Mordor took only five minutes of screentime.
