So that's what happens when a person speaks out against one of the Admin's incompetence in running the server? Good job mate, you just made me finalize my decision to never go on the server again. **** you.

If someone were to tell me that thousands of people would be defending a game dev for sleeping around with games journalists, creating potentially compromising situations when they cover their work, and also that the game dev in question cheated on their significant other, manipulated them, lied to them consistently after the cheating was revealed, and was just a flat out abominable human being... They defended such a person just because the game dev is a woman. Well, I would call whoever told me such a thing crazy.

I guess my optimistic outlook that people aren't really hypocritical idiots on such a mass scale was sorely misguided. This is the problem with so-called "feminists" and "social justice warriors", they are doing more harm to the cause of feminism and social justice (good causes in theory, wrongly perverted by human idiocy in practice) by being unreasonable pricks.

And the idea that just because she is recieving rape threats and the like does not make her actions any less terrible, or criticism against her any less valid. The people making the rape threats are unjustified pricks. But so is she.

Seriously, between this, the Ferguson debacle, ISIS being the worst examples of humanity, and Ebola panic driven stupidity, I've lost all former benefit of the doubt for people.

I'm not usually a fan of advocating against buying/playing a video game just because the person who made it is an asshat, since I feel that the work should be separate from the person. But that's only for silly little things like what Phil Fish tends to do. But when it's as bad as what Zoe Quinn did, I'd say never buy/support her. I don't care if she is a female, a male, or some sort of asexual jellyfish creature, a terrible person is a terrible person.

But there are better ways to spread the word than to support a developer who manipulates others and causes their lives to be a hellish nightmare.

Like seriously, spreading the word about depression is really important. There are a lot of people who just don't understand that just because people live a privileged life, doesn't mean that there isn't a chemical imbalance that tells us to go off ourselves. And we can't just "man up and deal with it" because when you're depressed, your mind is so f'ed up that you just end up despising yourself and you can't think of anything but how much you hate yourself. People who are depressed need love and support to make it through, they need to be helped to get to a point where they can help themselves.
