It has a niche, esp if paired w another stagger or lo purs marsh, tbh its outclassed as taking down pdon isnt that hard now, yeah ndm and poisonceus do get nailed but I personally like goth or the aforementioned lo purs marsh for the "usual" trapping.
i like duggy + xerneas though, dug takes on a lot of of xern's checks leaving xern free and all.
Duggy Xern is one of the most underrated cores in the meta imo.
Duggy is an amazing suicide lead that also traps.
Memento also gives u set up options vs mons u normally wouldnt be able too.
but dugtrio is actually ridiculously niche so i dont like it *much*.
