One of the reasons I'm so opposed to the whole 'hey, nice outfit' thing is because it's meant to be a shippy moment (or something). There's nothing shippy about Gladion complementing her outfit in my opinion. I know he's not trying to make the situation look shippy, but if he just said 'hey, nice outfit', it kinda kills the whole idea. Pika would be a little flattered and say thanks. The end. But what I'm going for is a simple complement making Pika go crazy. No one (that I know of) goes completely crazy blushing because their outfit looks nice to their crush. And if Pika didn't go crazy blushing and freaking out, there'd be no awkward situation. There'd be no 'I'm sorry' and 'you didn't do anything wrong'. All that would be used is "Pika and Lexi are chatting and Gladion walks up, stares at Pika, and gives her a complement", and the complement wouldn't even be the same. Pretty much renders mh idea pointless.

Sorry for subjectin' ya to that, I just wanted to explain.

Ah, I see. Also, if you use my idea, please don't make Gladion complement her outfit.

To complement Pika, you won't want beautiful, you won't want cool (although Arceus only knows why you'd call her that anyway), you'll want cute or adorable. I also just said "If Gladion likes her outfit so much, why doesn't he PUT IT ON?" XD

Pika's meant to be cute. It's how I designed her. And "hey, nice outfit" isn't something I'd imagine Gladion saying. Since when did like tuxedos and black pants so much (XD)? She's an anime-style character, so she has big blue anime eyes. "Cute" is basically the only way to describe her appearance.

No. She's an adorable girl (at least, in my opinion) and she's already been complemented on her outfit. Why would anyone go that crazy because their crush said "oh, hey, nice outfit"?
