How do you change the colour of your Vs. Recorder?

I sometimes watch Battle Videos on YouTube. When people go into the Pokemon center and start up the Vs.Recorder (Global Mode) it is a different colour than usual. How do they do this?

By simply taping the side of the Vs Recorder on the touch screen. The order of colors are this:

Right touch: Pink, Gray, Yellow, Red, Brown, Darker Yellow

Left touch: Darker Yellow, Brown, Red, Yellow, Gray, Pink

You tap on the sides of the main menu. (the two darker colored strips.) If you press it more than once, it keeps changing colors.
