No its not, but not because of its special attack, Giga Drain is meant for healing off damage while causing damage to your opponent. Shedninja is suppose to come in hard and fast and KO all Pokemon before it gets killed, because if it gets touched by any move, hazard, weather or any other damaging factor it will faint not matter what. So whats the point of trying to survive with a move that will not even help you.
