Ekans is a version exclusive Pokemon in many games.
- Red: Routes 4, 11, 23
- Gold: Goldenrod Game Corner
- Silver: Routes 3, 4, 32, 33
- Crystal: Routes 3, 4, 32, 33, 42, Headbutt trees
- FireRed: Routes 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 23
- Diamond / Pearl / Platinum: Route 212 with FireRed in the Dual Slot
- HeartGold: Goldenrod Game Corner, Safari Zone
- SoulSilver: Routes 3, 4, 32, 33, 37, Safari Zone
You might have looked in the wrong Routes, or you have a game that doesn't have Ekans in it. Games that I did not list, Blue, Yellow, LeafGreen, Black, White, White 2, Black 2, don't have it.
