Has the underground part of Diglett/Dugtrio been revealed?

Nope it has not been revealed but I think they're round. But I can't assume because no one has seen its bottom.

I can't figure out how to put the link on here, but there's an episode in the anime where Brock picks up a dug trio and there's no bottom! Just flat ground and rocks underneath!
