My Chandelure (F) no item

Trait infiltrator

Ev's--sp atk 252 spd 252 hp 4

Flamethrower--STAB
Will o wisp--useful for destroying
Hex--super damage with will o wisp
Energy ball--coverages water

Stats (Lv 100)
Hp--262
Atk--131
Def--216
Sp atk--427
Sp def--216
Spd--258

This thing's special attack plus energy ball/hex/flamethrower is a destroying machine.

Will o wisp to burn, the hex to deal lots of damageand energy ball for coverage. Wondering if I should have more moves for coverage or just stay how I am at the moment.

Caramel (Chandelure) @ Life Orb
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Memento

Infiltrator is Chandelure's best ability imo because you get to ignore screens. You can use Flash Fire or Flame Body if you want, though. I put the Life Orb on Chandelure because I wasn't sure what else to use, and extra damage is always nice. Flamethrower and Shadow Ball are STAB, Energy Ball covers Water, Ground and Rock, and Memento is for when Chandelure is almost dead and you need something to weaken the opponent's Pokémon. I've been using this Moveset on my most recent team, and it's been working pretty well.

Chandelure (M/F) @ Firium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, - Atk)
- Flamethrower: STAB, if the opponent's Pokemon are slower than you, can nuke Pokemon with the Z-Move.
- Shadow Ball: STAB.
- Solar Beam: Coverage when Sunny Day is active.
- Sunny Day: Power up Flamethrower & solar Beam, do Z-Sunny Day for a boost in speed to sweep anything.
after one speed boost you are as fast as Pirouetta, if you want you can use the timid nature to out-speed Accelegor.

From my mono-color team:

Timid Chandelure
A: Infiltrator
I: Choice Specs
EVs: HP/SAtk/Speed - 248/252/8

-Flamethrower
-Giga Drain
-Shadow Ball
-Psychic

Best used with a Pokemon with Quiver Dance and Baton Pass (I use Venomoth). Once you setup the quiver dance buffs, baton pass to chandelure, and let it sweep.

The best QuiverPass set is Focus Sash Ribombee.

Here is a good set

Chandelure (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire (Extra immunity and boost to Fire-type attacks)
Nature: Timid, his special attack is good enough but he needs speed
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

•Shadow Ball: Good Ghost STAB
•Fire Blast: The accuracy is not that bad, extremely strong Fire STAB, and a chance to Burn is nice
•Energy Ball: Covers 3 weaknesses; Rock, Ground, and Water
•Confuse Ray: Good against incredibly strong Pokemon such as Mega Rayquaza because you might be able to hit them again, and the next Pokémon you send in has an advantage because the opponent is confused

Best in singles, but he does great in doubles with good Drought users (Or Desolate Land in Primal Groudon’s case).

confuse ray isn't good because it's completely luck based.

Chandelier @ Expert Belt
EVs: 252 Sp. Attack, 252 HP, 6 Defense/Sp. Defense
Trait: Flame Body
Nature: Modest (+Sp. Attack, -Attack)

Moves:

Flamethrower: STAB, powerful, good accuracy.

Sunny Day: Increases the power of Flamethrower, causes Solarbeam to be used in one turn.

Solarbeam: Powerful, Covers Water, Ground and Rock weaknesses. Can be used in one turn when Sunny Day is in effect.

Shadow Ball/Hidden Power[Fighting]: Shadow Ball for STAB, and Ghost type coverage. Hidden Power[Fighting] to cover Dark and Rock Weaknesses. I would personally go with Shadow Ball

Or, another would be:
[email protected]
Trait:Flame Body
EVs:252 Defense, 252 Sp. Defense, 6 HP
Nature: Bold (+Defense, -Attack) or Calm (+Sp. Defense, -Attack)

Swagger: increase their attack so they can bet themselves up!
Facade: if they get burned from Flame Body, they will take a lot of damage
Shadow Ball: STAB, coverage.
Minimize: So they miss you, A LOT!

This'll be a long one.

The Pokèmon is called chandelure. Why does chandelure have bulk investment despite it being frail? Flame body over an immunity or being able to bypass substitute? Sunny day is a terrible move. Chandelure gets energy ball, so it doesn't need sun for solar beam. Hidden Power is not in swsh.

Max is both defenses is worse than max hp and max in one defense. Why do you have a - attack nature when you have a physical attack? That isn't how you spell beat. I think swagger is banned in most tiers. That isn't how facade works. Minimize is banned in most tiers.
Yes, I know the Pokemon is called Chandelure, my stupid phone auto-"corrected" it. I don't really care much about an immunity when it's already 1/2 resistance, and the substitute isn't much of an obstacle. It generally goes away after one decent attack, so not too much of a loss. Sunny Day is not a bad move. It causes Solarbeam to be used in one turn, and increases the power of Chandelure's  Move Flamethrower, while reducing the damage that Chandelure takes from Water type attacks. Solarbeam has a greater base power than Energy Ball by 30 (40 gens 4-5), so along with the other effects I said, it's definitely worth the ONE TURN it takes to activate. Who ever said that I made this Moveset for Sw/Sh? I normally play White 2, so I make them for White 2. Plus, for all I care, you can just migrate a Chandelure with Hidden Power to Sw/Sh.

If you really want to max out HP, and one Defense, go for it. I don't really care. Honestly, I missed that, but who cares if it has a minus attack nature with a Physical move. It also gains a boost if the Opponent is burned. Ever heard of a typo? So what. Doesn't mean it's banned in stuff like the battle subway or white tree hollow. I realized that already, so sorry that I'm human and make mistakes. Again, doesn't mean it's banned from the battle subway or the white tree hollow.

Sorry if I come across rude, I'm just sick of you being so hypercritical.
to be fair the moveset threads are intended to be as competitive friendly as possible

This is probably the only Chandelure set I run:

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Infiltrator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Trick

Fire Blast and Shadow Ball are good STAB moves. Energy Ball covers Water, Ground, and Rock types. Trick is for crippling an opposing wall.

Soul Eater (Chandelure) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire

EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic

- Fire Blast

When used as a lead and with the right prediction, this thing can be a MONSTER. With choice scarf it can outspeed ANY non-scarfer for what I know (It can outspeed Ninjask.)
Pair up with hypnosis and nasty plot gengar for a death duo.
Dynamax for more mass murder.

National Dex UU

Chandelure @ Firium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Fire Blast / Overheat
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball

Calm Mind + Firium Z set. Flash Fire allows you to switch into fire moves such as Will-o-Wisp and Flamethrower from opposing Pokémon. Calm Mind boosts your attack and defense. Fire Blast is powerful STAB. Overheat can be used for more breaking power, but keep in mind it drops your special attack by 2 stages. However, Overheat can be used for a powerful 195 BP Inferno Overdrive. Fire Blast into Inferno Overdrive is 185 BP, which is a 10 BP difference, which isn't really that bad. Shadow Ball is ghost STAB. Energy Ball is for coverage against water types like Swampert and hits them super effectively.
