Are Johto's towers names a coincidence?

If you merge them, I think of it as "Burned BellSprout". Is this a coincidence, or did Game Freak want it this way, cause Ho-Oh can easily defeat a Bellsprout with Sacred Fire?

I couldn't find anything that said "Game Freak admitted to making the names for these towers because it made the sentence 'burned bellsprout'". It's just a coincidence.

(BTW, I thought burned -> burnt, but there is nothing saying that 'burned' isn't a word)
