What happens when pokerus turns into a purple face?

Question

My Pokemon had pokerus for a while, and eventually went away and a purple face appeared. Does the purple face mean pokerus is no longer contagious, but still gives the effects of double evs, or does it mean pokerus is completely gone and I get no more effects of pokerus?

It means you can't pass on Pokerus but you still get double the EVs.

The PokeRus on your Pokemon has faded away. PokeRus or no PokeRus there is nothing to worry about because the positive effects of PokeRus remain on the Pokemon forever. :)
