I know that Medical herbs lower your Pokemons happiness but some Pokemon like bitter food and Medical herbs have a bitter taste. It probably doesn`t but it should make sense if it did.
Even if the Pokemon likes bitter food, it's happiness will still lower if you give it medical herbs. I hope this helps! -Jellohamster
