How many times can you capture a ditto per game?

Question

I suppose if I wanted to trade exclusive Pokemon, I would want a copy for myself. However, there are more than one exclusives per game, hence the question.

Also, (noob question) can ditto transform into a legendary if both are put into daycare?

You can capture ditto as many times as you like, just like any Pokémon (excluding legendaries. And if you mean breed a ditto and a legendary, then no. It won't work.

You can catch an ibfinite amount of dittos ofcourse only the amount of Pokemons your boxes can hold (obviously). All Pokemon except those which are legends or special like the volcarona in black/white 2 etc are and can be captured only once.
