What is a good moveset for Yveltal?

Wait wait wait, before I get comments saying this move set is trash (Because that's what my friends say) let me explain please. So this is why I use this moveset. The people saying where's Sucker Punch? Where's this? Where's that? And here are the reasons why. This moveset is designed as a Psychic and Ghost-type killer. With Foul Play getting stacked up with that power, it's gonna pack a punch. If not then, I don't know what your up against but it sure is tanky. Dragon Rush is mainly for a dragon-type coverage with Wide Lens increasing its accuracy. Oblivion Wing is a powerful lifesteal move and once again, Wide Lens comes in handy for hitting that important Oblivion Wing when you need it. And the last is Hyper Beam. I rarely use this move because of its accuracy and not being able to move the next turn. So I only recommend this whenever you need a powerful attack to land straight on the opponent, because once again Wide Lens. Also, you might say, uh steel wing? But DONT EVER USE IT ON THIS MOVESET. Keep a steel-type mon in your hand like Scizor, Aegislash, and the infamous Metagross. Hope it helps and stay safe!

Yeah. Hyper Beam and Dragon Rush suck. Usually Yveltal is defensive too. Nature is odd also. This set is trash in my opinion.

Not necessarily usually defensive, but defense ones do a far better job at getting rid of ghosts and psychics than this set.

The reason why I have wide lens is that I take into consideration the accuracy of Hyper Beam and Dragon Rush. Dragon Rush is another source of counter for dragon-type mons. Since Dragon Rush is not a move you would see often on yveltal, this is gonna be a surprise to them. Hyper Beam has trash accuracy but with wide lens, it will be a move that will surprise your opponents and might 1 shot them

Recharge moves are bad in competitive. Running Wide Lens in a defensive set only to boost Dragon Rush and Giga Impact's accuracy is bad as Heavy Duty Boots is the always preferred choice in Defensive sets. And why Oblivion Wing with Impish Nature when roost is just better recovery?
