How does aegislash change forms?

If an Aegislash in its normal Shield Form uses an attacking move, it transforms to Blade form. If it is in Blade Form and then uses King's Shield, it will go back to its Shield Form.

I think any def/sp. def raising move works instead of just Kings Shield.
