Along with Pokemon, some moves and items are banned due to their ability to knock the Pokemon out of the sky. The following moves and items are banned for this reason:
Iron Ball
Gravity
Smack Down
Skill Swap
Entrainment
Gastro Acid
Simple Beam
Worry Seed

If you try to use dig then it says That move won't work well during a Sky Battle

They should've allowed those moves (Except gravity), it would've been so funny to knock the pokemon out of the sky and result in an instant ko
