Showdown for official competition?

Question

I am going into the official pokekmon tournament, as in the double battle one with the regionals that were in October and coming up in January. I wanted to use showdown to test some stuff out for my team, so what battle format, if any, coincides with the official rules of that tournament. Is it Pokebank Smogon Doubles?

No you want to use the VGC tier. This is doubles using level 50 Pokemon.
